Namua used to be a ninja who did terrible things to stay alive. He got caught and sent to jail up North. After his time in jail, when he was starving, a kind priest shared his food with Namua. Even though Namua thought about taking the rest of the food, he changed his mind because the priest was genuinely lovely. This inspired Namua to choose a better, less selfish way of life.
Namua and everyone on the Thunder Train fell asleep and woke up in a locked room. Oga, the person behind it, said they had to pass five tests to leave his maze safely. The first test was to escape a shaky platform over a gap. Batta used her Wind Release, but Oga wasn't happy because it worsened things. Namua helped Boruto and others climb a ladder by Kiseru, and they passed the first test.
Namua and the rest of the group faced a challenging experiment where they were given candles symbolizing their lives. They had to work together to open a gate and protect their candles from threats. Boruto cleverly ensured everyone survived the ordeal by creating a long communal candle from the remains of others, following Oga's tricky rules.
In the following experiment, Namua shared his past as a former criminal. Despite Rokuro exposing his criminal history, Namua explained how he turned away from that life. They successfully navigated a room with a spiked ceiling, finding space under the floor to avoid harm, thanks to Boruto's quick thinking.
In the "Calculation" experiment, each person received a card with a number from 1 to 8. Namua had 5. He teamed up with Yatsume, who had 4, to reach the gate within two hours with enough cards summing to 7.
They encountered challenges and eventually found Batta and Fugō dead. Namua suspected Rokuro or Kiseru, and when Rokuro attacked, Namua fought alongside Boruto. Unfortunately, Namua was infected by Rokuro's jutsu, but Boruto's kindness broke the control, allowing them to continue.
As the group faced the final challenges, Namua volunteered to stay behind, holding the gate open to repent for his past crimes. Little did they know, everything was an elaborate plot under genjutsu, and they were in suspended animation.
When Yatsume, the real Oga, broke free and released everyone, Namua was ecstatic to start a new path.
Namua used to do bad things but changed for the better. He's now helpful, values kindness, and wants to make amends for his past.
Namua has a bald head and pale skin. He has black eyes and big light pink lips, his skin is clean, and he wears a green Kimino with dark green trousers. His stature is strong built and tall.
