Natsu Hyuga in Naruto

Natsu's past is shrouded in a great deal of mystery. Other than the fact that she is a member of the legendary Hyuga clan, close to nothing is known about her past, her parents, or her abilities. She only made a few fleeting cameos in the anime.

She made her anime debut in Naruto Shippuden's episode 389, "The Adored Elder Sister" as a maid of the Hyuga clan and caretaker of Hanabi Hyuga. She instructed Hanabi to complete her studies before playing with Hinata while she watched Hanabi finish her homework. Natsu and Hanabi saw Naruto Uzumaki getting chastised by a local one day while they were strolling through the village.

Hanabi was confused as to why Naruto was seen as an outcast when Natsu advised her to avoid Naruto and keep her distance from him.

She later appeared in the Pain Assault Arc in Naruto Shippuden. She went to the meeting with the Taketori clan with Hanabi and her father Hiashi Hyuga. They were shocked to discover that the village was being attacked by the Akatsuki when they returned. She then again appeared in the aftermath of the Fourth Great Ninja War. She accompanied Hanabi and Hiashi to a mass funeral held in the Hidden Leaf Village.

After these appearances, Natsu has not returned and thus it's hard to tell whether she's dead or alive because she has not made an appearance yet in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. We currently believe Natsu to be well and alive, unless any new information comes to light to the contrary.

Natsu is thought to be a compassionate and responsible person based on her brief appearance in the series. After all, she was given the job of caring for Hanabi Hyuga, an Heiress of the Hyuga clan. Despite this, she treated and viewed Naruto harshly when he was a young child because, like the majority of the residents of Hidden Leaf Village, she only saw him as the host of the Nine-Tailed Chakra Beast, also know as the Demon Fox, that had once destroyed their home.

Like the rest of her clan, Natsu has huge white eyes as she possesses the Byakugan. She has short, dark green hair. She is dressed in a full-length kimono with a white apron on top which appeared to be her maid outfit. She also had the forehead protector of the Hidden Leaf Village wrapped around her forehead.

She wore a navy blue kimono and an obi with an orange band around it while traveling back to Hidden Leaf with Hanabi and Hiashi after their meeting with the Taketori clan.

Natsu was presumably a student at the Hidden Leaf Ninja Academy as she wore a Hidden Leaf Headband which is only acquired after one has graduated from the academy. Although she served as a maid of the Hyuga clan, she is still a kunoichi and also possessed the legendary Dojustu of the Hyuga, the Byakugan.

She developed her Byakugan and as a result, she gained near-360-degree vision, x-ray vision, and the capacity to see through the chakra pathway system of her targets.

Apart from the anime, also appeared in original video animations (OVAs), which was released with the title, The Day Naruto Became Hokage.
