This is a Jutsu developed by Naruto Uzumaki with the help of Kakashi Hatake. This technique involved upgrading an already existing Jutsu called Ransengan by adding the Wind nature to it.

At the time of creation, Naruto needed three clones in order to perform it, one to control the chakra flow, one to add the wind element to it, and Naruto himself. The wind turns into sharp shuriken-like blades. Hover, having direct contact with this Jutsu damages the caster as well.

Rasengan was a jutsu that was invented by the Fourth Hokage after he witnessed a Tailed Beast Bomb. Minato would teach this Jutsu to his master, Jiraiya, who would teach it to Minato’s son, Naruto Uzumaki. Minato’s disciple, Kakashi Hatake would also learn this Jutsu.
Before he could have his element to the Rasengan, Minato Namikaze would pass away. Naruto would upgrade the Rasengan by adding the wind element to it with the help of Kakashi, who wanted to help Naruto defend himself against the Akatsuki.
After a lot of training with Shadow Clones, Naruto would finally master this technique. However, after using it just once, Naruto was told to never use it again due to its destructive nature which would destroy everything, including the arm he uses to cast the Jutsu.
After learning Sage Mode, Naruto learns to throw the Rasenshuriken which eliminates the weakness of the Jutsu. But due to it being a ranged attack, it could be easily dodged.
Every Jutsu has its own variations, modified by the user. Rasenshuriken is a modified version of the Rasengan. However, it does not end there. The Jutsu would be modified further as well.
The exact same Rasenshuriken, but much larger due to the amount of chakra applied into it. Naruto uses this against Madara Uchiha.

This is a Rasenshuriken that is created with the help of Son Goku’s (Four tails) chakra. The Rasengan becomes lava infused, making the whole Rasenshuriken lava infused as well.
These are different Rasenshuriken which contain the different chakra of the tailed beasts. There are nine different kinds.
This technique combines Naruto’s Rasenshuriken with Sasuke’s Black Flames from Amaterasu in order to create an incredibly strong Jutsu.

A. Yes, Rasenshuriken is much stronger than the normal Chidori due to its incredible power which is not only in an aoe, but also on a cellular level.
A. Upon getting directly hit, there is no way that even Sasuke can survive the Rasenshuriken. However, thanks to his techniques like the Susanoo, he can easily dodge or deflect them to survive it.
