Sangoro in Naruto

Not much is known about Sangoro’s past as he made little to no appearance in the anime. Additionally, he is only a part of the Naruto anime, making him a filler, non-canon character in the series.

Sangoro made his debut in the Kurosuki Family Removal Mission, where he was introduced as a miner from the Land of Rivers. In the arc, after Raiga Kurosuki, also known as the Thunder of the Hidden Mist, overthrows the village government, Sangoro and his friends, namely Rokusuke and Hachidai, escape from the village.

After fleeing, they get lost in a storm and eventually find themselves in the Land of Fire, where they encounter the Number One Hyperactive Knucklehead Ninja, Naruto Uzumaki. Once Naruto and the other Konoha ninjas (Neji Hyuga, Rock Lee, and Tenten) are assigned to look into Raiga and his plans, Sangoro goes for the Katabami Gold Mine, a mining town located in the Land of Rivers.

This is the only incident where Sangoro made an appearance, and he hasn’t reappeared since. Due to the lack of information, it is hard to determine whether he is still alive or not. For the time being, Sangoro is believed to be alive and well until any additional information comes to light suggesting otherwise.

Sangoro had a minimal role in the series, and the information concerning his personality is unavailable.

Sangoro has bushy eyebrows and short black hair. He has a grey beard that is really short, like a patch. Additionally, he has a bandanna covering his hair that is fastened in the back.
