Shio in Boruto

The details of Shio's past are rather mysterious but very little is known about her upbringing or her heritage. In the anime, she only made a few brief appearances. It is stated that she is in a genin squad consisting of herself, Sato, and Kosho.

Shio made her anime debut in the Ao Arc of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations in episode 181, "The Vessel." In the Arc, Shio, along with other genins of Konoha, watched the battle between Boruto Uzumaki and the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki at the Training Hall.

Shio only had a fleeting appearance in the Boruto series. Due to her sparse appearance and limited information at hand, it is next to impossible to understand what kind of personality she possesses.

Shio is a young girl with light skin, long, dark hair (light in the manga), and a Konoha forehead protector that she wears as a hairband. Her bangs fall over her right eye, covering most of her face with her hair. In the anime, she was seen wearing an article of brown-green kimono-like clothing.

It is difficult to tell from Shio's little appearance the full extent of her battle capabilities. However, she is a genin who graduated from the ninja academy so she surely possesses the skills required to survive in the harsh shinobi world.
