Shu is a cat whose owner owns a motel in which Naruto Uzumaki and Jiraya stayed when they were looking for Tsunade. Shu is one of the supporting characters in the Naruto anime series and manga that was written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto.

Shu is a male cat that lives in a motel in the Land of Fire where Naruto and Jiraya came to stay. Naruto and Jiraya were on a journey to find Tsunade. Jiraya was teaching Naruto the Rasengan, and to create a Rasengan, he gave Naruto a balloon full of water and told him to pop it using chakra. Naruto was not able to understand how to do it, then he saw Shu playing with a water balloon. Spinning it in his paws, he made the balloon pop. That gave Naruto an idea of how to pop the water balloon with chakra. When Jiraya asked Naruto how he did, he gave all the credit to Shu and hugged him.
Shu seems like a very cheerful and friendly cat but also gets scared when the balloon pops.
Shu is a white cat with some brown spots and a brown tail. He is just like a normal cat.
