Tamaki used to live in the Sora-Ku with her grandmother Nekooba, who is also in charge of the city. Later in Boruto: The Next Generation, she settled in Konohagakure with her cats.

In Naruto's first season, Team 7 was seen to have been tasked with gathering the final paw print for the Paw Encyclopedia, which Tamaki then delivered to her grandma.
They gave Team 7 cat ears so they could enter the Cat Fortress of Nekomata.
In Naruto Shippuden, When Sasuke and his group headed to the store to stock up on supplies for their fight against Itachi Uchiha, Tamaki tried to locate clothing for Jugo.
Kiba, Akamaru, and Shino wanted to gift the best honey to Naruto and Hinata as their wedding gift. Tamaki met them and led them to the Beekeeper.
While Kiba falls in love with Tamaki at first sight, Tamaki warns them about the danger in the fogged bamboo forest and tells them no one can leave the forest after they enter it. However, Kiba ensures that they are safe in the forest. Later in the anime, Kiba and Tamaki started going out on dates.
Tamaki in Boruto became a cat breeder and settled in the Hidden Leaf Village. Kiba and Tamaki go to the Cat-Dog Festival with their pets to explore the hot springs.
The two run across Mirai Sarutobi, Might Guy, and Kakashi Hatake while debating which hot spring to attend first. The village residents soon recognized the pair due to their reputations as animal breeders.
Kiba's compliments from dog lovers soon caused a split between Kiba and Tamaki as they both started competing over which animal was superior.
Mirai offered Tamaki an apologetic letter that appeared to have been written by Kiba, because she wanted to help the couple, but realized he was too preoccupied with all of his followers.
The attempt backfired because of Mirai’s ignorance of cats, which Kiba would have had, leading Tamaki to side with the cat-loving people in a conflict with the dog-loving ones.
The locals were subsequently calmed by Mirai using a genjutsu in the shape of a Cat-Dog ghost, who gave them the impression that it was a signal to stop fighting.
After their dispute was resolved, Kiba and Tamaki reconciled and chose to visit a hot spring as they had initially intended.
Tamaki is a hardworking and helpful young girl, and from a very young age, she has been helping her grandmother to run her shop in the abandoned city.
She is a cat lover and has been around ninja cats and cats in her grandmother's shop from a young age. Later, she became a great cat breeder in Konohagakure.
Tamaki has long brown hair below her waist and hazel eyes. As a child, she used to have shoulder-length hair and wore dark red shorts, fishnet stockings, and shoes with an orange sleeveless shirt.
