Very little is known about his early years, as Tenzen's bodyguard’s past is still shrouded in mystery. Tenzen's bodyguard had a very brief visual appearance in the anime, so much so that even his name is not known. Other than the fact that he worked for Tenzen as his bodyguard, almost nothing is known about him.
Additionally, Tenzen's bodyguard does not make any appearances in the Naruto manga or any other publications, making him a non-canon, anime-only character in the series.
In Itachi Pursuit Mission Arc, Tenzen's bodyguard made his on-screen debut. In this arc, Tenzen was attacked at his castle by Sasuke Uchiha and Suigetsu Hozuki in order to get the Kubikiribocho that he claimed at Zabuza's grave when he was originally after Zabuza to exact his revenge. When Tenzen learned that Zabuza had passed away, he grabbed the sword from the dead man's grave, handed it to one of his strongest henchmen, and appointed him as his bodyguard. Tenzen's bodyguard burst through the wall to protect his boss and slashed Suigetsu with Zabuza's sword. However, he was startled to see that Suigetsu had survived the slashes because of his special composition body. Suigetsu expands his arm and grabs the sword, flinging Tenzen's bodyguard out of the hole in the wall.
This is the only incident where Tenzen's bodyguard appeared, and he hasn’t reappeared since. Due to the lack of information, it is hard to determine whether he is still alive or not. For the time being, the bodyguard is believed to be deceased until any additional information comes to light suggesting otherwise.
There isn't much information available regarding Tenzen's bodyguard's personality due to his lack of appearance and relevant information in the series. However, in his brief appearance, Tenzen’s bodyguard seemed overly confident in his abilities. He believed that he was worthy to wield the Executioner’s Blade and was capable enough to take down Suigetsu, who just took down a small army.
He was a middle-aged man with a tannish-skin tone, long spiky grey hair, small dark eyes, and a small patch of hair for a beard. He had a beige cloth wrapped around his forehead. He wore a brown, sleeveless shirt, dark pants with meshed armor underneath, and a pair of sandals.
Tenzen's bodyguard had a muscular physique and was strong enough to swing Kubikiribocho with ease. It is stated that he excelled in Kenjutsu, sword fighting techniques. He was also able to break through a wall with brute strength. Suigetsu stated that he envied Tenzen’s bodyguard as he could lift Zabuza’s Blade with brute force without requiring any special training.
