When does Naruto become Hokage?

It is the day of Naruto’s Hokage inauguration. He is still asleep in his bed. Hinata asks their two children, Boruto Uzumaki and Himawari Uzumaki, to wake their father up as he was running late. Himawari is trying to wake him up but fails in her gentle attempts. Boruto wakes him up in his own way, by jumping on Naruto. At the breakfast table, Hinata tells Naruto that she was going to pick up his Hokage Cloak as she was told it wouldn’t be finished till the last minute. She asks Naruto to get to the venue with the kids as she would head straight to the venue after picking up his cloak.

Hinata arrives at the venue but is surprised to see that Naruto and the kids had not arrived yet. She rushes back home. Naruto is getting ready to leave for the venue. Boruto and Himawari are fighting over a stuffed animal. Himawari wants to bring it with him, but Boruto says that she would get tired and then he would have to hold it, which would be embarrassing for him. He asks her to leave it at home. In their fight, it gets ripped apart in half. Himawari snaps and awakens her Byakugan, and starts attacking him. Naruto comes between them to stop the fight. Himawari ends up attacking Naruto’s Chakra point, knocking him unconscious.

At the inauguration venue, everyone is waiting for Naruto. Kakashi tells Shikamaru that Naruto would not make it in time. Shikamaru requests Konohamaru to stand in for Naruto while the rest of the village awaits his inauguration. In the inauguration, Konohamaru uses Transformation Jutsu to take Naruto's place.

Hinata arrives at Naruto’s residence and finds him unconscious. She realizes that his Chakra Points are halted, and he would be unconscious all day. She wonders who could be capable of doing such a thing. In the meantime, Boruto is terrified of Himawari and hides from her in a closet. He had not known that Himawari could be so dangerous when she is upset, and now realizes that she had knocked out their father in a single blow. When Himawari finds him, Boruto screams in terror.
