Tokiwa in Naruto

After Kokuyo finds Naruto and his team on their way to the Land of Fire, Tokiwa declares that she'll stop them. However, when Shizuka tells her that it is her duty and leaves with her pursuer. After seeing Naruto, who tells her that he's Jiraiya's student, Tokiwa tells him that he needs to fight Shizuka in order to get her hand in marriage.

This was as per the agreement Jiraiya had made but Naruto declined the offer yet that didn’t stop Tokiwa as when he went away, she tracked him down and told him all about Shizuka's past.

After persuading Naruto, who finally agrees that if he defeats Shizuka, he would marry her, Tokiwa creates an arena using Earth Release. After the battle is over, Kokuya tries to capture Shizuka but dispatched him easily However, when Kokuya's Hundred Puppet Soul Binding technique is activated, Tokiwas realizes that all the puppets and attacks were just a distraction for the real attack. After Naruto rescues Shizuka, they head to the Harbour to see them off.

Tokiwa is a calm, level-headed person who praises shinobis who are strong and who impress her. She is even respectful of those shinobi who are extremely powerful and use their honorifics. She is also very humble.

Tokiwa is tall and has a slender physique with short brown hair, and wears a dark red lipstick. She wears a short, backless red, full body suit over the mesh armour with a pair of arm-length gloves and a light orange sash with a long blue- green apron skirt which is open in the front. She also wears bandages on her wrists and her legs and thighs covering them. She carries a long and thin katana which is strapped to her back.

Tokiwa uses Earth Release and is very skilled in kenjutsu.
