Tonbo Tobitake

Tonbo took part in the chunin exams written part in which he had to make sure that all shinobis were not cheating. When he caught Komaza cheating 5 times, Komaza protested that he couldn't keep up with all the students at once and to see how many times they cheated. Hearing this Tonbo knocked him to a wall and told him that only the most elite were allowed to take on this task so that they don't miss out on anything.

Tonbo along with Shimon Hijiri and Mawashi Dokuraku aided Inoichi Yamanaka's Psycho mind transfer of Yudachi. He complimented the speed at which Inoichi could read the memories. When Pain attacked the village he helped distract the Animal path to give Inoichi a chance to analyze whatever he's learned.

Tonbo has a very collected and cool personality. He is known to be very confident in his abilities and he also acknowledges if someone has great talent. He can also be rash and quick-tempered as can be seen when he roughed up Komaza in his entrance exam.

The upper half of his face is completely wrapped up in bandages and he wears his forehead protector over his eyes. He usually has a cigarette in his mouth and wears the standard Konoha intelligence division uniform which is a gray suit. He also wears bandages around his legs with sandals.

He is skilled enough to aid Inoichi to look into people's minds in order to retrieve potentially valuable information. He is also very fast and strong and can easily restrain someone with a single arm.
