Wind Release Jutsu

Wind release is one of the rarest of the five nature transformations. Those who can use it can cut through anything. It can also be e haled from a user's mouth and they can use it to blow away everyone from their surroundings and can be generated with the help of the user’s hands too. This allows the user to make precise aims.

It is known for its power and good range. It can also be enhanced by compressing or layering different wind streams together. The user can easily launch particles into the air and create dust clouds or sand storms which hinder and conceal the person’s movements.

Even though it is rare, Wind nature is usually seen in Sunagakure Ninjas, and with the help of their fan, they can create winds and use the force against their names. Wind Release is strong against Lightning Release and weak against Fire Release. As wind’s weakness to fire, if put together well can be used as a collaborative attack which can help make the flames powerful.

If wind release is combined with other natures, Kekkai Genkai is produced like wind and water make Ice Release, Wind nad Fire make Scorch Release, Wind and Earth make Magnet Release. When wind, earth, and fire are combined they make Dust Release.

Typhoon Water Vortex Technique:

This makes the user create violent rotation which temporarily blinds the enemy's vision. This mist can be used as a smokescreen for escaping and confusion but it also can be for a surprise attack.

Ice Release:

This was used by the Yuki clan. They can lower the temperature of their surroundings and can make snowfall happen instantly. They can put ice particles on their targets which can freeze them to death. It is dependent on the moisture present in the air to create the snow.

Dust Release:

The users form a three-dimensional object out of the chakra in their hands. Once the user releases it the object expands and most at a fast pace towards its target. It can pass through anything and once hit can kill someone.

Dust Release users are usually unmatched in combat and can fend off enemies quite easily. It requires a certain amount of preparation time and the hands of the user are quite important for it and interfering with it can hinder the technique.

Rasenshuriken:

It is a Shuriken shaped Rasengan and was created by Naruto Uzumaki. In this technique, Naruto added his wind nature transformation to his Rasengan which gives it a shuriken structure.

It requires a lot of chakra to perform and it is quite a heavy technique to use. Not only that, the wind blades can pierce every cell in the body and can destroy their chakra network. This includes the user’s hand as well which is why it became a forbidden technique until Naruto learnt Sage Mode and could use it effectively without harming himself.

Orochimaru:

After a lot of experimentations and training, Orochimaru became quite proficient in all the nature releases. His knowledge and power helped him perform a variety of jutsus. The wind release techniques he uses are Gale Palm and Great Breakthrough. These jutsus help create a huge gust of wind that blow their opponents away

Danzo Shimura:

Just like Orochimaru, Danzo is highly proficient in all chakra amateurs and combines them to make a very powerful Jutsu. He uses Wind Release techniques like Vaccum blade, Vacuum Great Sphere, and Vaccum Serial Waves. He can be seen using many of his wind release techniques during his fight with Sasuke.

Gaara:

Even though Gaara uses his sand to attack and defend himself from enemies, he is also capable of using Wind Release. He combines both techniques like adding sand to the gusts of the winds and making it a stronger attack.

He can use Wind Release Breakthrough, Great Breakthrough, Multi-Layered Gale, and others. He uses a Jutsu known as Sand Buckshot, which consists of sand compressed into bullets with the help of wind which can inflict intense damage on the enemy.

Temari:

As Temari is from Sunagakure she can generate winds with the help of her giant folding fan. She can also summon Kamatari and ride these currents to attack her enemies. She can use various Wind style techniques like Wind Style: Great Sickle Weasel Techniques, Great Wind Protective Wall, Wind Cutter Technique, etc.

She is one of the few ninjas who can only use Wind Style Techniques but she has mastered manipulating wind to be her offense, defense, and support.

Naruto Uzumaki:

After knowing that he could harness Wind Style, Naruto developed his Jutsu. This variant was known as Rasenshuriken, which is one of the strongest Wind Style Jutsu. It can damage the enemies' cellular system and can tear their chakra network.

Even though this jutsu was incredibly powerful, Naruto continued to improvise it by adding various elements and Kekkai Genkai to the Rasenshuriken. It is now able to destroy mountain tops and even meteorites!

Asuma Sarutobi:

Asuma was very proficient in Wind Release techniques and he used Wind Release by channeling wind chakra into his blades to make them sharper which gave them a greater reach. He also used the Dust Cloud Technique which mixed the dust with strong gusts of winds to blind his opponents temporarily and weakens them. He can also use wind-based chakra blades from a far away distance.
