The Gauntlet in GTA V is designed with heavy inspiration from the 2008-2013 Dodge Challenger, as well as styling cues from 1970s E-Body muscle cars. It features flared and smooth lines, iconic hood scoops, side scoops, and semi-circular tail lights with chrome details. The front bumper has a meshed central intake, circular fog lamps, and dual circular headlights.
The sides have flared arches, vertical intakes on the rear fenders, and "GAUNTLET" lettering on the rear quarters. The interior is shared with other cars in the game, with the Bravado emblem on the steering wheel. The car is painted with a primary color and a secondary color stripe that runs across the whole vehicle. It has seven-spoke rims wrapped in low-profile tires.
The Gauntlet has a powerful single-cam turbocharged V8 engine that provides high acceleration and an above-average top speed, second only to the Dominator. However, it has a moderate tendency to spin out. Its front-engine, rear-wheel drive layout is coupled with a 5-speed gearbox.
The car has a high-revving and aggressive engine sound, which it shares with other cars in the game. Overall, the Gauntlet is a fast and powerful car, but drivers must be careful to avoid losing control.

Gauntlet - Four Gauntlets are needed for this heist only if the player picks the Subtle approach. The player only needs to find three Gauntlets and modify them at Los Santos Customs. Lester helps the player with the locations of four Gauntlets but they can even be purchased and used for the mission.
The Big Score (Subtle Approach) - The Gauntlets are utilized to evade the police during the heist and are maneuvered into two trucks in the Del Perro Tunnel to get rid of the police.
Private Taxi Fare - Got You Now - Liz Macallen owns a black Gauntlet that broke down. Franklin has to drive her boyfriend to her from ULSA.
Can be purchased for $32,000 from Southern San Andreas Super Autos.
In the enhanced version the Gauntlet can be found spawned outside the Los Santos Customs in Burton and Greenwich Parkway, Los Santos International Airport.
Can be found at the on-street parking spot in Rockford Hills, in front of the Caca and Winfrey Castiglione shops.
Sometimes found at night in the southern part of the LS River storm drain where gang members are having car races.
Can be found at the top floor of a garage, eastern Little Seoul, on Vespucci Boulevard and Peaceful Street.
Can be found parked outside of the Lifeinvader Office.
Spawns at the location of the Bail Bond mission for Larry Tupper, a barn west of the Redwood Lights track. Can be retrieved without triggering the mission, and continues to spawn on return. Stops spawning after the mission is completed.
Game files suggest there was going to be an emergency variant of the Gauntlet, the variable name POLGAUNTLET, likely a law enforcement or police-modified vehicle, but was later cut from the game.
The default radio station for the Gauntlet is Channel X.
