The Picador in GTA V is designed based on the Holden HJ, Holden HK, and Chevrolet El Camino utilities, retaining the essential ute design. It has a rear fascia and tail light design similar to the 1969 El Camino, while the front end has references to the 1967 El Camino in the headlight and grille assembly.
The vehicle is generally narrower than the GTA San Andreas iteration, featuring a silver front bumper, a grille section with a wide divider, and a bulged profile bonnet.
The sides have small flares around the upper sides of the wheel arches, horizontal door handles, and circular rear-view mirrors. The rear end has a tailgate with a black panel, square-shaped red marker lamps, and a silver rear bumper. The vehicle is available in a primary color applied on the entire bodywork and uses a set of unique five-spoke rims wrapped in low-profile tires.
The Picador's performance is decent in terms of speed and acceleration, but falls short when compared to other muscle cars. However, its unique four-wheel-drive system provides excellent traction and launch speed, which coupled with its soft suspension makes it ideal for off-roading. It does have poor crash deformation and only average bullet resistance.
The Picador is equipped with a large displacement V8 engine and a 5-speed gearbox, distributing torque 40% to the front and 60% to the rear wheels. Its engine sound is shared with other cars like the Sabre Turbo and Fugitive.

This vehicle does not appear in any missions of GTA V.
Can be seen driven around by NPCs or parked around the areas of Strawberry in Los Santos and Sandy Shores in Blaine County.
Sometimes spotted around Harmony.
Can be purchased from the Southern San Andreas Super Autos site for $9,000.
In GTA San Andreas, the Picador took the place of a Sadler as Ryder's car of choice during development of the game.
Strangely, the interior has a Vapid logo on the floor mat of the Picador. This is most likely due to the reuse of vehicle interiors.
Some of the splitter options leave small gaps, as if they do not fit correctly. Additionally, full roll cage options seem to partially clip with the interior textures, which is more evident on the rear portion.
