Very little is known about Gameru as his past is still shrouded in mystery. Gameru is an anime-only character and does not appear in Naruto manga, making him a non-canon character.
Gameru made his debut in episode 184 of Naruto Shippuden in the Past Arc: The Locus of Konoha. In the episode, Gameru and his partner Kusune requested ninja tools from Io, the ninja tool inventor of Konoha. However, Io denied their request as he refused to provide ninja tools to outsiders, anyone not from Konoha.
Gameru and his partner tried to take Io’s tool by force, but they had to defeat Naruto Uzumaki, Neji Hyuga, and Tenten in a battle to do so. Gameru and Gameru fought Naruto and Neji. However, the genin found themselves in a tough situation, unable to defeat their opponents due to Io’s prototype ninja tools in Gameru and Kusune’s possession. Then, Tenten entered the battle with Io’s latest ninja tool, Jidabda, and defeated Gameru and Gameru.
Gameru has not reappeared since this incident. Thus, it makes it next to impossible to determine his current status. For the time being, he is presumed to be alive until additional information comes to light suggesting otherwise.
Gameru is a carefree man who is overconfident in his abilities as a shinobi and often underestimates others by their appearances. However, he acknowledged Naruto and Neji’s abilities as shinobi and determined it was best to maintain distance from them. Gameru also puts a lot of faith in ninja tools and is always eager to acquire more powerful and destructive weapons.
Gameru also refuses to acknowledge Konoha’s strength as a village. He believes that Konoha has become weak since Orochimaru attacked the village, which made it easy for them to cross Konoha’s borders as they did not face any obstacles.
Gameru is a middle-aged man with fair skin, green-brownish hair, which he keeps in a ponytail, black almond-shaped eyes, and thick dark eyebrows. He covers his face and head with a grey hood. He wears meshed armor underneath a dark red kimono with short sleeves.
Gameru is a shinobi; however, his arsenal of skills remains a mystery. In the anime, he displayed his skills in close combat with the help of Dako, Io’s ninja tool. He was able to fight and hold off Naruto and Neji, who excel in close-range combat. He also showcased his proficiency in Fuinjustu (sealing techniques) by using Enclosing Technique to store Dako.
