Gensho Ryudoin in Naruto


Gensho Ryudoin is the eldest brother of the Three Ryudoin Brothers, who wanted to take revenge on Might Guy. He also disguised himself as Yagura (Anime). He is one of the supporting characters in the Naruto anime series and manga that was written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto.

Life of Gensho Ryudoin


Gensho appeared in Naruto episode: 195, "The Third Super-Beast!." He disguised himself as Yagura (Anime) and showed his Kenpo skill to make Might Guy like him. When Rock Lee came to the training, he sparred with Gensho, where he used his Kenpo skill to hurt Rock Lee’s ankle.


Might Guy was then given a mission by Tsunade and she asked to take someone with him and he decided to take Gensho with him to the mission. Gensho lured Might Guy into his trap as he and his brothers, Jako Ryudoin and Rokkaku Ryudoin, used Wooden Puppet Manipulation Technique to attack the Might Guy.


After learning that Gensho disguised himself as Yagura (Anime), Tsunade sent Neji Hyuga, Naruto Uzumaki and Tenten to rescue Might Guy.



Rock Lee got to know about the situation and rushed to rescue his sensei too and when he reached there he saw Naruto, Tenten and Neji having a hard time dealing with the Wooden Puppet that Gensho and his brother manipulated to fight.



Gensho had trapped Might Guy inside a castle and kept attacking him but when Rock Lee entered the Castle, Gensho used the Wooden Men Possession Turnover Manipulation Technique to force Might Guy and Rock Lee to fight each other. When Might Guy and Lee find out that it's them then they used their Eight Inner Gate power, and his Technique of Gensho fails.




Might Guy told Gensho and his brothers that their father, Agira Ryudoin was one of the most fearless fighters and he respected their father a lot but maybe they misunderstood the words of their father who asked them to take revenge.



Gensho Ryudoin’s Personality


Gensho had hatred toward Might Guy because he defeated his father, which led to his death. After he got to know about Might Guy and his respect for his late father. His hatred went away and he accepted that he had made a mistake. He loves his brothers but is also someone who orders instructions.


Gensho Ryudoin’s Appearance



Gensho wears a purple coat, a flak jacket, and black trousers. He wears a white necklace and has white hair. He has fair skin and wears a shinobi sandal.


Gensho Ryudoin’s Abilities




Gensho Ryudoin is a skilled and talented shinobi who can use Wooden Puppet Manipulation Technique and Kenpo, which he showed when he disguised himself as Yagura (Anime) and was able to counter Rock Lee Leaf Hurricane. He used it against Might Guy and Konoha shinobi.


He also used the Wooden Men Possession Turnover Manipulation Technique (to trick them into fighting each other until all but one of them is defeated, this technique requires at least two opponents to battle through wooden training dummies).

Gensho Ryudoin made an appearance in Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2 game that was released on July 13 2006, for Nintendo DS. He killed Jako because he failed to use the Spirit Beast's power, then Naruto defeated him with the power of the Spirit Beast.
