Hato in Naruto

Not much is known about Hato’s past as he made little to no appearance in the anime. Additionally, he is only a part of the Naruto anime, making him a filler, non-canon character in the series.

Hato made his debut in the Six-Tails Unleashed Arc. In the arc, it was revealed that Hato was the father of Shiranami, the Magaki Group’s leader. Hato was a former student of En no Gyoja, and he passed on all the teachings he learned from him to his son. It is stated that Shiranami was even more exceptionally skilled than his father.

Later, during the Third Great Shinobi War, Hato was killed by Shiranami. Shiranami killed his father to obtain the Tsuchigumo clan’s kinjutsu, Fury, which Hato died protecting.

Hato had a minimal role in the series, and the information concerning his personality is unavailable.

Hato had short, black hair that was spiked. He wore a long grey shirt with long grey sleeves, long slacks, a black bracelet on each wrist, black shinobi sandals, and a silver, sleeveless haori with grey trimmings and a leaf insignia showing his worthiness to wield the clan's kinjutsu.

Hato was a very talented ninjutsu user, according to Hotaru, En no Gyoja’s granddaughter. He possessed a kinjutsu from the Tsuchigumo clan known as Fury that was potent enough to wipe out an entire village in a single strike.
