Himatsu in Naruto

Very little is known about Himatsu as his past is still shrouded in mystery. Based on the information at hand, Himatsu is a young boy from Takigakure. He also has a sister, Shizuku.

Himatsu made his on-screen debut in the Mission: Protect the Waterfall Village! OVA. In the OVA, Himatsu and his sister were first seen cleaning a pond with the assistance of Team 7 (Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Sakura Haruno) except for Kakashi Hatake. Later, their mother steps out of the woods with a kunai stabbed in her back and informs them that their village is under attack. The kids then stay with Sakura, tending to their mother’s injuries. Later, they are kidnapped by Suien, a rogue shinobi of Takigakure, after they were attacked by Kirisame, his accomplice. Suien kidnapped the young kids to blackmail Shibuki who became the leader of Takigakure after his father’s demise and forced him to give up the Hero Water. Himatsu and Shizuku always had faith in Shibuki and believed that he would come to their rescue. Even though Shibuki was well-known for his cowardly nature, he came through in the end. Later, Naruto and Sasuke saved Himatsu and his sister with their joint efforts.

This is the only incident where HImatsu made an appearance and he hasn’t reappeared since. Due to the lack of information, it is hard to determine whether he is still alive or not. For the time being, HImatsu is believed to be alive and well until any additional information comes to light suggesting otherwise.

Himatsu is a young and kind kid. In the OVA, it was shown that Himatsu has unwavering faith in Shibuki, no matter the situation.

Himatsu is a young kid with short, spiky black hair, thick eyebrows, and big black eyes. He is dressed in a bluish-green, high-collared shirt, paired with beige shorts and gray sandals.

Himatsu is a young boy and based on the information at hand, he never received any formal combat training.

Apart from the OVA, Himatsu also appears in the light novel with the same title as the OVA, “Mission: Protect the Waterfall Village!”
