Sakura Haruno in Naruto

Sakura is the only child of her parents Mebuki and Kizashi Haruno. Unlike other members of her team, she had a typical childhood and was nurtured by her parents without any major tragedies or difficulties. She was usually picked on by a few girls in her class at the Academy because of her big forehead.

She covered her head with her hair to avoid their taunts, which only resulted in enraging other females who teased her further. One of her classmates, Ino Yamanaka, stood up for her against the bullies and encouraged Sakura to embrace her forehead rather than covering it.

The advice and friendship of Ino over the ensuing years helped Sakura grow into her own person and feel at ease with herself. Despite feeling grateful to Ino for her assistance, Sakura started to feel as though she was living in Ino’s shadow rather than striving to be on a par with her.

Sakura developed feelings for Sasuke Uchiha when she first met him while enrolling in the Academy. She grew her hair longer to grab Sasuke’s attention after believing a rumor that Sasuke likes girls with long hair. After learning that Ino too has a crush on Sasuke, Sakura ended their friendship and competed against Ino to conquer Sasuke’s love, thus beginning a bitter rivalry between them even before the beginning of the series.

Part 1

The Bell Test

Sakura was assigned to Team 7 upon graduating the Academy. She showed disappointment at Naruto being her teammate but is immediately overjoyed after hearing Sasuke was a part of her team as well. She makes an attempt to connect with Sasuke by expressing her envy of Naruto’s paternal status but Sasuke merely takes offense and calls her unpleasant.

Later, Kakashi Hatake, the captain of Team 7, tasks his students with a bell test to evaluate their abilities and declares that anyone to successfully acquire a bell will be deemed as a genin. While Sakura searches for Sasuke to see if she can assist him, Naruto is busy battling Kakashi. During her hunt, Kakashi encounters her, and uses the delusion that Sasuke has died, defeats her with Sasuke and Naruto also defeated in a similar manner.

After the test, Kakashi reveals that it was intended to test their ability to operate as a team and accomplish tasks that none of them could achieve alone. He agrees to let them try again after lunch, but he gives Sasuke and Sakura strict instructions not to feed Naruto. Sasuke feeds him anyway, since he and Sakura need him to be at his best to work together. Kakashi notices this and lets everyone pass because they are more concerned with the team than following his orders.

Land of Waves

After completing a few lower ranked missions, Team 7 is finally assigned to a C-rank mission: escorting Taaims to the Land of Waves. During their journey towards the Land of Waves, they were confronted by Demon Brothers whom Kakashi defeated in the fight, Tazuna confirmed that the brothers were hired to kill him. The nature of the mission has now reached even higher, making it beyond a Genin’s level.

Upon reaching the Land of Waves, Team 7 is attacked by Zabuza Momochi. Sakura shielded Tazuna while Kakashi, Naruto and Sasuke engaged in a battle with Zabuza.

She is shocked when Haku unexpectedly intervenes in Kakashi’s battle with Zabuza and is killed. Sakura queries Naruto about Sasuke’s whereabouts when he arrives in search of him. She grows concerned when Naruto doesn’t answer, but she doesn’t move because she can’t leave Tazuna’s side.

Tazuna offers to accompany Sakura to Sasuke’s location, only to find out Sasuke lying seemingly dead. Sakura, overcome with emotion, breaks down and cries for him. Later, when Sasuke wakes up, Sakura embraces him and reveals the death of Haku. Meanwhile, Zabuza passes away which enables Team 7 to use Tazuna’s freshly built bridge to return to Konoha with the bridge was later named, “Great Naruto Bridge”.

Chūnin Exams

Kakashi meets up with Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke to enroll them in the Chūnin Exams. He forgets to emphasize that they must enter as a team since he was afraid Sakura might only enter because of Sasuke. He is relieved when she decides to enter on her own. Sakura is approached by Rock Lee just before the Chūnin Exams commencement. He offers her to go out with him and to risk his life to keep her safe. Sakura adamantly declines, offended by his long eyelashes, hairdo and bushy eyebrows.

The participating genin are given a written test with 10 questions for the first phase of the Chūnin Exams. Sakura realizes after reading the question that they are too challenging for most genin, notably Naruto, to successfully answer without using a cheat code. However, Team 7 advances to the second round with few other genins.

Teams go into the Forest of Death for the second stage’s five-day survival challenge. Soon after the second stage starts, Team 7 is assaulted by Orochimaru, who Sasuke and Sakura realise is far too strong for them to combat after detecting his murdering intent. Sakura and Sasuke are taken aback at how well Naruto puts up a fight against Orochimaru, though he is eventually defeated and knocked out.

Sakura uses a kunai to pin him to a tree to prevent him from falling and tells Sasuke that despite all of his flaws, Naruto isn’t a coward. Sasuke persuades and engages Orochimaru in combat, though he gets branded with Orochimaru’s Cursed Seal of Heaven, ultimately getting knocked out.

Sakura relocates Naruto and Sasuke to a remote location where she keeps watch on them all night. The next day, Team Dosu, Orochimaru’s henchmen are persuaded to kill Sasuke and avoid the booby-traps Sakura had earlier set up. However, Rock Lee intervenes to save her in an effort to fulfill his earlier commitment of protecting her, but he is ultimately defeated.

Sakura attacks Team Dosu herself but Kin Tsuchi stops her by the hair and berates her for how much time she obviously devotes it. Sakura cuts her hair to free herself and begins attacking, determined to stop needing others' assistance by being motivated by Naruto and Sasuke.

Her bravery persuades Team 10 to support her, even the onlooker Ino Yamanaka. After noticing Sakura’s wounds, Sasuke punished Zaku by breaking his limbs and threatened to do the same to the rest of his crew. However, Sakura embraces him and tries to stop Sasuke from going any further after being terrified of his actions.

Team 7 takes several days to recover from their adventure, but they manage to make it to the forest’s centre in time to proceed to the Chūnin Exams’ preliminary rounds, which consists of a series of one-to-one qualifying matches. Sakura is matched up against Ino for her test. They begin by exchanging jabs before blowing punches. Ino is stunned because Sakura demonstrates that she is equal in both categories.

Frustrated, Ino decides to cut her hair like Sakura did earlier. This ploy enables her to immobilize Sakura while she employs her Mind Body Switch Technique. Ino, who is in charge of Sakura’s body, tries to force her to quit the duel, but inner Sakura stops her and casts Ino out. By this point, both of them are weary from having spent all of their chakra but they nevertheless trade one final hit that knocks them both unconscious.

When Sakura gains her consciousness, Ino informs her about their match ending up in a tie, and as a result, neither of them will qualify for the next round. Despite this, they decide to re-establish their friendship, but they are unable to stop fighting over Sasuke.

Konoha Crush

Sasuke’s match is interrupted by an invasion in Konoha, and a genjutsu descends on the stadium where finals are taking place, knocking out most of the spectators. Sakura counteracts the genjutsu and she is noticed by Otogakure forces. Kakashi saves her and tells her to awaken Shikamaru and Naruto. Shikamaru was just pretending to be asleep when she did so, but after they have all gathered, Kakashi sends them along with Pakkun to chase Sasuke, who is following Gaara.

Sakura and Naruto catch up to Sasuke in time to save him from Gaara’s strike but he knocks Sakura out and ties her to a tree. Her bindings fall off, and Sakura suspects Sasuke is to thank for. When they return to Konoha, Sasuke corrects her by telling her that Naruto was the one who saved her. Team 7 shows up a few days later for the Third Hokage’s burial.

Escort Mission

Team 7 is dispatched to the Land of Tea to watch over Idate Morino as he runs a race. Sakura keeps an eye out for the possibilities for Idate to flee for his life as Naruto and Sasuke battle Team Oboro and later Aoi Rokushō. Aoi eventually knocks Sasuke out, but Sakura takes care of him until Naruto defeats Aoi. Team 7 returns to Konoha after Idate wins the race.

Sasuke Recovery Mission

While Sasuke is in the hospital, Sakura pays him a daily visit. She continues to take care of him as he gets well, but he rejects her compassion because of how his brother, Itachi Uchiha, had earlier defeated him. Sasuke challenges Naruto when he visits him, and despite Sakura’s objections, Naruto accepts the challenge to engage in combat.

She observes as they trade blows on the hospital roof, but when Sasuke and Naruto prepare a Chidori and a Rasengan, she realizes she can’t stand by and watch any longer. She tries stopping them by running between them, but neither can pull away in time. However, Kakashi appears and splits them away from each other while saving Sakura at the same time. As Sasuke storms out, Kakashi follows him, but before leaving, Kakashi promises Sakura that he’ll set things right.

Afterwards, Sakura tells Naruto about the cursed seal Sasuke obtained from Orochimaru. She expresses her anxiety that Orochimaru may be luring Sasuke away from Konoha, to which Naruto reassures her that Sasuke would never consider leaving Konoha. Though, she still worries and waits outside the village that night and her fears are confirmed as Sasuke eventually arrives carrying his belongings.

Sakura declines Sasuke’s request for her to return home, questioning why he always pushes her away. When she is unable to convince him to stay with her, she makes the case that taking revenge on Itachi isn’t worth it. Sakura tells Sasuke that she loves him and offers to follow him along when he is still adamant about going. Like he did after Team 7 was formed, Sasuke tells her that she is annoying and he knocks her out as she makes a threat to cry out for assistance, however, he thanked her first.

The following morning, Sakura is discovered asleep on a bench. As soon as she awakens, she informs Tsunade, the new Hokage, that Sasuke has left the village. The Sasuke Recovery Team was established to go after him, Sakura approached Naruto as they were ready to leave Konoha and she urged Naruto to bring Sasuke back to Konoha as she believed that at the moment, Naruto was the only person who could get through to him. She sobs at Naruto’s commitment to her as he promises to bring Sasuke back even at the stake of his own life.

Naruto is unable to bring Sasuke back despite his commitment. After making an effort to dodge the topic, Sakura pays him a visit in the hospital and lets him know that she won’t hold him to his word. However, Naruto refused to retract what he said. Touched, Sakura apologizes to Naruto for his ordeal and pledges to assist him personally the following time in bringing Sasuke back.

Land of Rice

Sakura heads towards the Land of Rice with Naruto and Jiraiya to look into one of Orochimaru’s lairs and possibly find Sasuke. The mission is unsuccessful. After they return to Konoha, Sakura requests to become Tsunade’s apprentice, to which Tsunade agrees.

Sakura focuses on her training under Tsunade, learning combat skills as well as medical ninjutsu. Meanwhile, she also participated in various missions assigned to her besides training. She was under Tsunade’s training for almost three years for the same duration when Naruto left Konoha with Jiraiya to advance his training.

Watching Sakura’s progress and skills, Ino gets jealous and requests Sakura to train her in medical ninjutsu. Sakura agrees by telling her that she would only be her junior during the course of their training.

Part 2

Chūnin Exams

Another Chūnin Exam is held around two years after Naruto departs Konoha to train. Since competitors must compete as three-man teams, Ino insists Sakura join Team 10 in Shikamaru’s place since Shikamaru is already a Chūnin. Despite being separated during the first exam, Sakura, Ino, and Chōji are charged with earning a cumulative score of precisely 100 points on their written examination.

After clearing the first round, Team 10 reaches the Demon Desert in Sunagakure for the second round of the exam. They were tasked with the same assignment as from several years before: obtaining a scroll from another team. They spend three days lost in the desert and lose their supplies to Ame-team.

They are attacked by Team Ameno while resting at an oasis, Team Ameno is ultimately defeated by Team 10’s combined efforts. Team Ameno offers their scroll to Sakura and Ino after recovering from their wounds. They part ways and make plans to reunite for the third round.

Later, Team Saya attacks Team 10 and Saya takes control of Ino’s thoughts and compels her to attack Sakura. Chōji in the meantime, begins to outnumber Saya’s colleagues, Saya takes control of his mind and forces him to attack Sakura using his Super Multi-Size Technique. Ino releases Chōji which forces Team Saya to flee. Team 10 gets trapped in a sandstorm and Ino and Chōji are poisoned by a cloaked Mamushi. After Team Saya is defeated, Sakura returns to heal Ino and Chōji.

Later, Team 10 is located by the exam proctors and are brought to the area where the other genin are being assembled. Chūnin gets postponed and the participants are informed that their will be sent back to their respective villages, where their superiors will decide their promotion. Tsunade promotes Sakura, Ino and Chōji after their return to Konoha.

Kazekage Rescue Mission

Tsunade informs Sakura of Naruto’s return to Konoha after two and a half years of training. She goes to welcome him back, at first she is happy but in a moment gets dissatisfied when he starts competing with Konohamaru Sarutobi in sexy jutsu. Kakashi reforms Team 7 with them and tasks them with stealing the bells from him. Sakura and Naruto obtain the bells after distracting him, using the Icha Icha book climax reveal, which is Naruto’s idea of deceiving him.

Soon after, Team 7, now Team Kakashi, is summoned by Lady Tsunade to be assigned into a new mission to rescue the Sand’s Kazekage upon receiving a message from Sunagakure about Kazekage’s abduction by the Akatsuki.

Upon their arrival in Sunagakure, they find out that Kankūro was poisoned by Sasori, an Akatsuki member when Kankūro tried to rescue Gaara. Sakura studies the poison and prepares an antidote as the village’s medics in Sunagakure are unable to heal him. Sakura along with her Team and Chiyo depart Suna to find and rescue Gaara from the Akatsuki.

On their way to the Akatsuki hideout, they are confronted by Itachi Uchiha for a brief moment, long enough for the Akatsuki to buy time to extract Gaara’s One-Tail Beast, Shukaku. After their battle ended with Itachi’s imposter, they headed towards the hideout, only to find Gaara dead at the hands of Akatsuki. Chiyo and Sakura engaged in battle with Sasori, while Naruto and Kakashi persuaded Deidara who was carrying Gaara’s body within one of his giant clay birds.

Sakura and Chiyo battled together against Sasori, where initially, Chiyo helped Sakura counter Sasori’s attacks by tying her with chakra threads and manipulated her moments like a puppet to dodge Sasori’s attacks. Later, Sasori pulled out his Third Kazekage puppet in response to Chiyo revealing the father and mother puppet that Sasori built. After a brief conflict, Sakura destroyed Sasori’s Third Kazekage puppet.

Sasori reveals his Hundred Puppet Army, to which Chiyo summons her Ten Puppet Collection of Chikamatsu. They engage in a dense battle where both sides’ puppets are destroyed, and Sakura and Chiyo discover Sasori’s strength after finding out that he converted his own body into a puppet with the exception of his heart.

During the battle, Sakura and Chiyo get poisoned and fatally wounded. Chiyo gives Sakura the last of the antidote and when Sasori tries to attack them again, he is trapped inside Chiyo’s father and mother puppet, which proves fatal for him and he reaches his final moments. As a reward for defeating him, Sasori tells Sakura about Orochimaru’s spy, whom Sasori was scheduled to meet in ten days in Kusagakure.

As the battle with Sasori concluded, Sakura and Chiyo headed towards Naruto and Kakashi, who managed to retrieve Gaara. Chiyo revives Gaara back to life using her forbidden Reincarnation technique in exchange for her own life. As she passes away, Sakura holds Chiyo in her arms and mourns her. Team 7 and Team Guy head back to Konoha after successfully rescuing Gaara.

Tenchi Bridge Reconnaissance Mission

Sakura informs Lady Tsunade about the intel she received from Sasori about Orochimaru’s spy. Tsunade recruits Yamato in Kakashi’s place as the latter was recovering in the hospital. Another new member, Sai, is assigned to Team Kakashi who was specially sent in by Danzō from his Root’s unit. Sakura and Naruto have a difficult time with Sai on their way to the mission as Sai is completely emotionless and doesn’t know his way with words.

Sakura tries to mediate between Sai and Naruto along the way explaining to Sai the brotherly bond between Naruto and Sasuke. Later, she gives up on it and only cooperates with Sai for the sake of the mission. Next day, they reach the Tenchi Bridge, where Yamato disguised himself as Sasori and head towards the bridge to meet Orochimaru’s spy, who turned out to be Kabuto Yakushi.

Within a few moments, Yamato’s disguise is destroyed and a fight breaks out between the two sides. Naruto gets enraged by Orochimaru’s description of Sasuke and the Nine-Tails cloak start forming around his body, while Naruto engages in confrontation with Orochimaru, Sai sneaks out for his personal mission and lets Sakura take the fall when the bridge breaks down.

Later, Sakura tries to stop Naruto after seeing the lengths he was willing to go in order to retrieve Sasuke from Orochimaru. Naruto injures Sakura as she approaches near him, Kabuto heals her wounds as a thanks for killing Sasori, soon after Naruto is restrained by Yamato and suppresses the Nine-Tails cloak.

Sakura heals Naruto as he sustained severe burns on his body after obtaining the Version 2 form of Nine-Tails. Naruto was unable to recall what happened after he transformed into Nine-Tails, in the forest where Sakura, Yamato and Naruto were strategizing their plans to retrieve Sasuke from Orochimaru’s hideout, Yamato informs Naruto that it was his actions that caused Sakura’s injuries. After some time, Yamato’s clone reveals Orochimaru’s hideout and they immediately rush towards it.

Upon reaching the hideout, Yamato, at first, restrains Sai for his actions after they infiltrated the hideout. In mere moments, after exchanging words with Naruto, they divided into teams of two in search of Sasuke, with Sai and Sakura in one team, and Naruto and Yamato in another. They somehow manage to reach Sasuke but he refuses to come back to Konoha.

A brief conflict breaks out between them, but Orochimaru and Kabuto arrive at the scene and the former stops Sasuke from using Kirin and vanishes from the spot, taking Sasuke with him. Sakura, Naruto, Sai and Yamato head to Konoha after their mission was a failure.

Twelve Guardian Ninja

Team 7 led by Yamato is sent to the Fire Temple to look into a string of tomb robberies. Team 7 is divided from the rest of the investigating crew by an earthen maze. Sakura is attacked by a huge spider but she is rescued by Sai and they rejoined Naruto and Yamato with Sakura tending to Sai’s wounds.

Later, when the robbers fled away, Team 7 returned to Konoha. The robbers attack the Hidden Leaf and Sakura is forced to combat Fuen. Fuen attacked a dummy of Sakura, pretending to fall under Fuen’s genjutsu, Sakura plummets Fuen to the ground.

Akatsuki Suppression Mission

Team 7 is sent to help Team Asuma in their battle with Akatsuki. Sakura and Sai are sent to provide backup for Shikamaru Nara during his fight with Hidan while the others focus on Kakuzu. Sakura and Sai arrived at Shikamaru’s location, only to find out that he had already defeated Hidan.

After the battle, Naruto sustains severe injuries after performing his new jutsu, Wind Style : Rasenshuriken. Sakura treats his wounds and tells him about the consequences of using his new jutsu. Later, she tries to feed Naruto at Ichiraku Ramen but instead Sai takes the responsibility, much to Naruto’s dismay. Soon, Kakashi arrives and teases Naruto by ultimately feeding him.

Three-Tails Appearance

To support Team 8 in their conflict with Team Guren, Team 7 is dispatched. Sakura is put on the sealing team responsible for sealing the Three-Tails. Before they could complete the Four-Corner Sealing Barrier, Guren’s Team attacks them which ultimately disrupts the sealing, freeing Three-Tails to run freely. Sakura tends to the wounded after their failed mission and they depart back to Konoha the next day.

Itachi Pursuit Mission

After the news of Orochimaru’s assassination by Sasuke reached Konoha, Team 7 and Team 8 are dispatched in pursuit of Itachi in hopes of retrieving Sasuke and elimination of Konoha’s rogue shinobi Itachi Uchiha. The Team came to be known as the Eight Man Squad who split up to different locations with Kakashi’s ninken in search of either of the Uchiha.

Kakashi pairs Sakura with two ninken, Shiba and Bisuke, andTtey pick up Sasuke’s trail at first but lose it afterwards. The mission ended in failure as Tobi stalled the squad long enough for Sasuke to escape after he killed Itachi.

Pain’s Invasion At Konoha

After Jiraiya’s death, Sakura works with Shikamaru to decipher the code that Jiraiya left as a secret message to Konoha. While they were researching, the Six Paths of Pain launched an all out attack on the village in pursuit of Naruto Uzumaki. Sakura heads towards Konoha hospital to tend to the wounded when she encounters one of Pain’s summoning animals who was attempting to kill civilians, Sakura kills the giant centipede saving an old lady and a young child on her way.

Later, she heals those who were wounded from the attacks. When Pain destroyed the village after performing Shinra Tensei, Sakura was saved by Tsunade, when she summoned Katsuyu to protect the villagers. Later, when Naruto returns after defeating Pain, Sakura punches him first then hugs him and thanks him for saving everyone.

Later, she stayed by Tsunade’s side as the latter was in a coma during the time the village was building back up.

Five Kage Summit

After it is declared that Danzō Shimura has been appointed as the next Hokage and that he has ordered assassination of Sasuke Uchiha after receiving a letter from the Raikage, Naruto decides to persue the Raikage to pardon Sasuke’s assassination. Sakura and Naruto are confronted by the Kumogakure’s shinobi who were looking out for Sasuke, who kidnapped Killer B. After learning about Sasuke’s admission into the Akatsuki and kidnapping of Killer B, Sakura decides to eliminate Sasuke herself.

She is informed by Sai about the abuse Naruto took from Kumogakure’s shinobi when he refused to sell out Sasuke. Sakura painfully accepts that Sasuke must be eliminated and decides that she is the one who must do so. She reaches the Land of Iron to try to stop Naruto from bringing back Sasuke by telling Naruto that she loves him and that she longer has feelings for Sasuke. Naruto refuses her words as he knew something was wrong.

Sakura leaves in pursuit of Sasuke after knocking out Lee, Kiba, Akamaru and Sai. As she approaches Sasuke, she confesses to deserting the Hidden Leaf and intending to join him but she tries to kill him with a poisoned kunai. It doesn’t work out well as Sasuke attempts to kill her but she is ultimately saved by Naruto. Naruto and Sasuke confront each other and they soon depart back to Konoha after Sasuke disappears with Tobi and White Zetsu.

When they reach back to Konoha, Sakura finds out Tsunade has woken up from her coma and goes on to tell everyone in the village about it.

Fourth Shinobi World War

Initially, Sakura was assigned to the Third Division of the Allied Shinobi Forces. She assisted the Surprise Attack Division on the first day of war to battle against Haku and Zabuza, but later tended to the wounded as the casualties started growing.

Eventually, she is reassigned to the Logistical Support and Medical Division to heal the wounded shinobi. When a White Zetsu infiltrated her tent in Neji’s disguise, she tricks him and attacks him after realizing he is an imposter. She alerted the HQ about White Zetsu and its abilities and later, she and Shizune ran an autopsy on Zetsu’s body and discovered its Wood Release capabilities.

The next day, the Medical Division is attacked by multiple reincarnated shinobi, one of them was Hayate Gekkō, a former Konoha shinobi, who ran away with a sealing scroll. Sakura persuades him until Yūgao Uzuki arrives to finish him off. While everyone in the Medical unit faced difficulties trying to identify Zetsu, Naruto arrived and saved Sakura from two Zetsu’s who were disguised as bodyguards assigned to Sakura.

After the Zetsu army is defeated, Sakura heads towards the main battlefield to assist Naruto and the Allied Shinobi Forces. She heals Kakashi and Guy upon her arrival. As the Ten-Tails charge towards them, Naruto shares his Nine-Tails chakra with everyone and they launch a combined attack.

After Naruto gets injured, Sakura immediately starts to heal him and in mere moments Ten-Tails charges a massive Tailed Beast Bomb towards the Allied Shinobi Forces, to which everyone loses their hope. Sakura motivates them, telling that Naruto considers everyone a comrade and willing to sacrifice himself for everyone’s sake.

Sakura is shocked by the arrival of the Four previous Hokage and then Sasuke as they join the war to put an end to it. As Sakura hits Naruto for calling her his girlfriend, she is requested by Minato to go easy on him. Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto are once again back together as a team and they fight the Ten-Tails inside the Four Crimson Barrier, with each of them calling upon their summonings.

Sakura is able to generate the strength of a Hundred Seal Mark and summons Katsuyu, asking her to assist the wounded Shinobi. As the war progresses with multiple things in play, Tsunade arrives with the other Kage in the battle. Sakura and Tsunade work together to heal the wounded shinobi while others are engaged in the battle.

After Obito is defeated, Madara Uchiha is fully revived back to life and he fatally wounds Naruto and Sasuke, by extracting tailed beast from Naruto and stabbing Sasuke with black chakra receivers. Gaara carries Naruto to Sakura’s location in order to heal him. After Naruto and Sasuke gain consciousness, Sakura along with them and Kakashi head to battle against Madara, who now has acquired the form of Sage of the Six Paths.

After a brief confrontation between Madara and Team 7, Madara manages to cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi which entraps all the shinobi and everyone else around the five nations under a massive genjutsu and immobilizes them completely. Team 7 remains to be unaffected as they are under the shield of Sasuke’s Susanoo.

Soon after, Kaguya Ōtsutsuki is revived from Madara’s body after Black Zetsu betrays the latter revealing his intentions behind the War and accomplishing the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Team 7 and Obito engage in battle against Kaguya where they are teleported from one dimension to another by Kaguya.

Kaguya teleports Naruto and Sasuke to different dimensions as they were too overpowering. Sakura, with the help of Obito, retrieves Sasuke from one of Kaguya’s dimensions. Obito teleports them back to the dimension where Naruto is and sacrifices himself to save Naruto from Kaguya.

Naruto and Sasuke then attempt to seal Kaguya using the powers granted to them by Hagoromo. As Kaguya attempts to escape, Sakura punches her on the head, creating an opening for Sasuke and Naruto to seal Kaguya back for good.

Later, Team 7 is summoned back to their own dimension by Sage of the Six Paths along with all the tailed beasts. Afterwards, when Sasuke declared his intention of destroying Konoha, Sakura tries to stop him but she is instead stopped by Sasuke after he puts her under genjutsu and leaves the battlefield and head towards the Valley of the End to fight Naruto.

After gaining consciousness, Sakura and Kakashi head towards the Valley of the End and find Naruto and Sasuke lying injured after concluding their battle. Sakura starts healing them and at the moment, Sasuke apologizes to her for everything he has done, to which she breaks down and asks him to stop talking.

Naruto’s Wedding

As Naruto and Hinata’s wedding dates nears, Sakura searches for the perfect gift for the wedding couple. She gets into a brawl with Ino after they pick up the same gift and are unable to decide who among them is going to give it to the wedding couple.

Later, Sakura competes with Ino in making soldier pills, where they chose Chōji to be the judge of the competition. When Chōji collapses to the ground with blood running down his nose, they accuse each other of poisoning the pills. The competition ends up in a tie as both of them manage to prepare delicious pills and praise each other for how well they know each other’s liking after they tasted one another’s pills.

New Era

Sakura later married Sasuke when she accompanied him during his travels and is now a dutiful mother of her only daughter Sarada. Sakura assures her daughter that her father stays out of the village to ensure their safety whenever Sarada feels annoyed with her father’s absence.

Sakura is also the director of the Medical Clinic and is a top healer, renowned throughout nations for her expertise. She keeps secrets of highly dangerous threats from her daughter in order to protect her future and the new generation.

Initially, Sakura was an insecure and highly self-conscious individual but someone who is polite towards her superiors and considerate of her peers. She was also highly competitive when it came to her childhood friend Ino, but otherwise she is quite collected. She usually masked her feelings, but at times, she has been shown to be jealous, delinquent and angry.

She often was shown as someone who bullied others, as seen when she usually underestimated Naruto. As she was hopelessly in love with Sasuke, she pinched Naruto for the slightest pranks he tried to pull at Sasuke which depicts her obnoxious personality. It was after seeing Naruto’s determination to bring back Sasuke that led Sakura to change her perception.

As time progressed, Sakura grew up to be a more mature individual when she was exposed to the realities of the world. Her inner Sakura has stopped making appearances since then. She became more thoughtful of her friends and got ready to make sacrifices for them. She aspired to become as strong as Tsunade when she trained under her guidance. She is always kind to everyone and her medic role fits her as she likes helping people.

Sakura is now a strong-willed individual and a kind mother to her daughter Sarada, while she is still devoted equally to protecting the village.

Part 1

Sakura is a fair skinned girl with green eyes and pink hair. She wore a red qipao dress either with or without sleeves with slits along the sides accompanied by a zipper and white circular designs. She also wears tight dark green bike shorts with a shuriken holster around her right thigh, blue sandals and standard Konoha forehead protector worn as a hairband.

Part 2

Sakura’s outfit consists of a red top with the same design as the upper-half of her Part 1 outfit. Accompanying this are black gloves, low-heel, knee-high boots, black shorts underneath a short grey apron skirt and grey elbow protectors. The cloth of her forehead protector changed to red and she started carrying a medical pouch. She also wore a Konoha flak jacket and assorted clothing during the Fourth Shinobi World War.

New Era

Sakura’s attire consists of a red sleeveless qipao top that exposes her navel, the back of which carries the Uchiha clan crest and falls to her knees. She also wears light-coloured pants, high heels and a red headband.

Initially, Sakura lacked combat abilities due to her focus on studies. While she was still at the Academy, she consistently received high scores in tests. In Chūnin exams as well, she was able to answer nine out of ten questions successfully without needing to cheat.

Later, she underwent intense training with Tsunade for two and a half years. She became strong enough to plummet the ground and honed her skills in medical ninjutsu as well. She rose to the rank of Jōnin two years after the war.

Physical Prowess and Chakra Control

Sakura’s chakra control improved drastically after training under Tsunade. She can rapidly build up chakra and concentrate it on her fists or other body parts, granting her monster strength. Her attacks are potent enough to destroy buildings or upend the earth with a single blow. She also has the ability to repel any incoming ninjutsu.

Sakura is also able to perform the Hundred Healings thanks to her excellent chakra control. When the seal is released, she has access to all the accumulated chakr which enables her to perform techniques at a massive scale, far larger than she is normally able to. She can also transfer this chakra to others.

Ninjutsu

Sakura can summon Katsuyu much like Tsunade using the Summoning Technique. She can have Katsuyu split apart and attach itself to others, giving her the ability to heal allies all at once. Sakura is able to use Earth, Water, Fire, Yin and Yang Release, and she is also skilled in fūinjutsu. She can also implant a cherry-blossom shaped seal on target and on command, the seals can release red chakra threads that can completely restrain body movements.

Medical Ninjutsu

Under Tsunade’s mentorship, Sakura learned exceptional medical ninjutsu which granted her the ability to heal even the most fatal of wounds. Using her medical ninjutsu skills, she can also create antidotes for any kind of poison. Her excellency in chakra control allows her to operate on anybody with ease without having to exhaust maximum chakra.

Her medical expertise enables her to perform autopsies and examine cells with a knowledge of genetics. She even created her own version of Military Rational Pills, which were intended to have more medicinal purposes and are easy to consume. She has also learned the Healing Power Alteration Technique. Her medical skills made her the head of the medical department in Konoha.

(To Sasuke) “I… I love you with all my heart!.. if you were to stay here with me, there would be no regrets… because every day we’d do something fun, we’d be happy I swear!… I would do anything did you! So… please just stay with me!”

(To Chiyo) “I may not have amazing weapons like a puppet in me, but what I do have is my master’s contempt for losing!”

(To her daughter) “Sarada, you and I are very precious to your dad. That’s exactly why he can’t come home. I don’t think you’ll be able to understand it now… but the day will come when you do.”
