Itama Senju in Naruto

Itama first appeared upon hearing the news of his brother Kawarama’s death. He was left in tears when he stood alongside his father, and his remaining brothers Tobirama and Hashirama, as their brother was buried. Itama was terrified by the confrontation between his father and his eldest brother after his father scolded him for crying as he believed that shinobi were not supposed to express emotions.

Later, while discussing world peace with his brothers, Itama expressed concern about what would happen to the revenge that should be sought for the killing of their families. Tobirama chastised him for this way of thinking, saying that the only way to acquire peace would be to suppress such feelings.

After some time, Itama was himself placed on the battlefield and was, over the course of the fight, surrounded by Uchiha clan’s members, who subsequently killed him.

Itama was a kind and soft-hearted boy in nature, as witnessed when he openly mourned the death of his clansmen and brother. As a child, he was also very impressionable, as evidenced by a conversation he had with his brothers about bringing peace to the conflicted world, and questioning about what would become of the retribution on those who had killed their relatives.

Itama had short, two-toned hair that was black on one side and white on the other, with matching brows. With his dark eyes, he resembled his siblings, and he usually wore a basic pair of pin-striped slacks, a dark coloured shirt, and a short haori. In battle, he wore period-appropriate armor and wrapped a piece of cloth around his brow.
