Katsura in Naruto

Since Katsura’s past is still a mystery, not much is known about his early years. Katsura was a ninja academy student around the same time as Itachi Uchiha. Except for the fact that he was a friend of Tenma during his time in the academy, very little is known about his lineage or past due to his limited appearances in the series.

Katsura first appeared in Itachi Shinden: Book of Bright Light. The novel revealed that Katsura’s father was among the victims of the Nine-Tails Demon Fox’s Attack and had died in the incident. He was among the faction of people who believed that the Nine-Tails’ attack on Konoha was the doing of the Uchiha Clan.

Because of his resentment towards the Uchiha clan, Katsura resented Itachi Uchiha. Although he was afraid to face Itachi, Katsura ganged up with Tenma and Hagiri to bully Itachi. However, although Itachi was much smaller than the three, he easily defeated them in a fight.

Katsura has not appeared since. Therefore, it makes it close to impossible to determine his current status. For the time being, based on his prior status, he is presumed dead until any additional information comes to light suggesting otherwise.

Due to his lack of appearance in the series and any related information, almost nothing is known about Katsura’s personality. Judging from his limited appearances and actions, it can be stated that Katsura harbored resentment for the Uchiha clan and resented Itachi because of it.

Katsura is a novel-only character and does not make any visual appearances in the Naruto manga or anime.

Katsura was never seen unleashing his abilities in the Naruto series. Katsura was an academy student, so it is doubtful he possessed any accountable capabilities.
