Kuwa Yokohori’s Background

The details of Kuwa Yokohori's past are rather mysterious, but very little is known about his upbringing. In the anime, he only made a few brief appearances. It is stated that he is a Ninja Academy student in Konoha.

Kuwa made his anime debut in the Academy Entrance Arc of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations in episode 1, "Boruto Uzumaki!!" In the arc, Kuwa was placed in Shino Aburame’s class after his successful enrollment at the Ninja Academy.

Later, in the School Trip Arc, Kuwa, along with the rest of his classmates, went to Kirigakure, also known as the Village Hidden in the Mist, for a field trip. After they arrived at Kirigakure, they were greeted by Kagura Karatachi, a Kirigakure shinobi and aid to the Sixth Mizukage.

In the Graduation Exams Arc, Shino’s class had the opportunity to participate in the graduation exams and graduate, becoming a genin. However, Kuwa chose not to participate in the Genin Exams.
