Ni's Dogs in Naruto

Ni's Dogs was a summoning of Ni, a skilled kunoichi and one of Hiruko’s three followers. Ni's Dogs first appeared in Naruto Shippuden the Movie: The Will of Fire. In the movie, Ni summoned Ni's Dogs in order to Naruto Uzumaki, the protagonist of the series, when he tries to save Sai, his teammate from danger.

However, Shino Aburame, a member of Team Kurenai, intervenes and attacks Ni’s Dogs with his insects, Kikaichu. Shino’s insects devoured the chakra of Ni’s dogs, rendering them helpless. It is believed that Ni’s Dogs died after this incident.

Ni's Dogs were summoning animals so they did not showcase any personality traits. However, as with most of the summons, they abided by their summoner’s commands.

Ni’s Dogs resembled four-legged wild beasts with dark fur with long furry tails. They had a protective all over their bodies, covering their legs, and back, and an orange protective shell covering their faces.

They also had distinctive red markings on their necks and their backs. They had spikes on the joints of their legs and two spear-like spikes mounted on their backs like missiles.

Ni's Dogs were extremely agile and have sharp claws. On their backs, each of them wielded spear-like weapons that they could use to assault the enemy. These spear-like weapons were powerful enough to withstand one of Kakashi's Lightning Cutters head-on while moving exceedingly fast.

In addition to the movie, Ni's Dogs also appear in the novel with the same title as the movie, Naruto Shippuden the Movie: The Will of Fire.
