Potcha in Naruto

Very little is known about Potcha as his past is still shrouded in mystery. Almost nothing is known about his childhood other than the fact that Potcha and his partner, Mondai, sought fame and glory in the village, and to achieve this task, they spent months training to perfect their disguise technique. Additionally, Potcha is only a part of the Naruto anime which makes him a filler, non-canon character in the series.

Potcha made his debut in episode 161 of the Naruto anime. In the episode, Potcha and Mondai infiltrated Konoha disguised as Might Guy and Rock Lee with their disguise jutsu while the real Guy and Lee were away from the village on a mission. They wanted to gather Konoha’s secrets for fame and glory. Little did they know, their disguise didn’t fool anybody, except Naruto Uzumaki, and were identified as infiltrators right off the bat. Tsunade Senju (the Fifth Hokage), Sakura Haruno, and Tenten messed around with them and gave them ridiculous missions to complete to keep them busy and keep them from learning anything about Konoha.

Later, Guy and Lee made their way back to Konoha after finishing their mission and ran into their impersonators. They then attacked Potcha and Mondai with their Double Dynamic Entry jutsu, defeating them both in mere seconds. Potcha hasn’t made an appearance yet after his incident. This makes it nearly impossible to determine whether he is alive or not. For the time being, Potcha is believed to be alive until any information comes to light suggesting otherwise.

Potcha is a goofy person and isn’t very smart.

Potcha is a man of big stature who has big, dark eyes, and short hair with a small ponytail. He wears a brown, short-sleeved shirt paired with dark wrist and ankle warmers and sandals.

Potcha claims to have perfected his disguise technique but that technique doesn’t seem to work on anyone. Additionally, Potcha, along with his partner Mondai, would wear football helmets and charge at their enemies but the effectiveness of this technique is unknown as they were stopped in their tracks.
