Setsuna Uchiha in Naruto

The details of Setsuna's past are rather mysterious. Very little is known about his upbringing or his skills. In the anime, he only made a few brief appearances.

Setsuna was a member of the Uchiha clan. He was among the Uchiha clan members who were displeased by the hierarchy in Konoha and their treatment of the Uchiha clan. Like many other Uchiha clan members, he planned to overthrow the Konoha hierarchy and the Senju clan and seize the power for the sake of the Uchiha clan. Based on the information at hand, Setsuna died during the Uchiha Clan Massacre.

Setsuna had a limited appearance in the series, so not much is known about him. It is stated that Setsuna cared deeply about the Uchiha clan and it is believed that he suffered from the Uchiha clan’s Curse of Hatred, like many others.

Setsuna had dark eyes and spiky hair. He was dressed in the typical Uchiha clan attire, which had the clan's emblem on the back of the mantle. He also wore a brown sash over his shoulder, which housed his pretty massive sword strapped to his back, a faceguard that only covered the right portion of his forehead and face.

Due to his limited appearance in the series, details about the true extent of Setsuna’s abilities are still a mystery. Despite this, Setsuna was a member of the Konoha Military Police Force so he surely possessed formidable skills as a shinobi. It is also believed that he excelled in Kenjutsu as he wielded a sword.

He was born in the Uchiha clan and was among the few who managed to awaken the legendary Dojutsu, the Sharingan. With his Sharingan, Setsuna was capable of recognizing Genjutsu, differentiating between different chakra forms, being able to see the flow of chakra, and many more abilities that came along with it.

Apart from Naruto manga and its anime adaptation, Setsuna is also part of the series’ gaming franchise. He debuted in the gaming category with the release of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2.
