Three Giant Snakes originally debuted in episode 68 of the Naruto anime. It first appeared in the Konoha Crush Arc. In the arc, several Sunagakure and Otogakure ninjas summoned the snakes. They were charged with breaking through Konohagakure's initial lines of defense. Master Jiraiya, a legendary sannin of Konoha, summoned Gamahiro using the Summoning: Food Cart Destroyer Technique, crushing one of these snakes in the process.
