Todoroki in Naruto

When Todoroki was young, his home was attacked by a Shinobazu group (ninja dropouts). He was coming back home and saw that his house was on fire. He rushed there and he saw Gantetsu holding his brother(Akio)’s mouth. When the debris fell over them, he thought his brother was dead.

Todoroki trained himself hard to get into the Land of Forests guard team and catch the Shinobazu group. He soon got into the force and became Captain, and caught Gantetsu. He took the duty to guard Gantetsu and transport him back to the Land of Forests for trial, because he thought Gantetsu was the one who killed his brother, but in reality, it was Gantetsu who saved Akio.

Tsuzumi asked Konoha village to send some shinobi to guard the ship in which they were taking Gantetsu back to the Land of Forests. Tsunade ( The Fifth Hokage) sent Rock Lee, Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno for the mission. They met with Tsuzumi and Todoroki, who told them to stay away from Gantetsu because he wanted to handle him alone.

When Naruto went to check on Gantetsu, he stopped Todoroki when he was about to attack Gantetsu with his sword. He thought that the Gantetsu group ninja would try to rescue him and before that happened, he wanted to execute him.

Monju, the Shinobazu group member, sliced the ship in half with his Murderous Grasp Technique and separated the ship into the upper half and lower. Naruto, Todoroki and Gantetsu were in the lower half and got separated from the upper half. Then one by one, Shura and Monju attacked him on the ship because they wanted to know the place where Gantetsu hid the money. Todoroki and Naruto fought them and because the ship went down the river, they all had to escape.

Later, when Todoroki again tried to kill Gantetsu, Naruto stopped him and told him to trust him as he was trying to help them. Soon, Shura and Monju attacked them, took Gantetsu, and found Akio and other orphans with Sakura and Lee.

Todoroki and Naruto chased Shura, who took Gantetsu, and Todoroki saw his little brother there. When he is about to meet his little brother, Shura takes Akio with him to his hideout, and then Gantetsu told the whole situation of how he saved Akio and quit being with the Shinobazu group.

Gantetsu leads them to Shura’s hideout and there they are able to rescue Akio. Later, Todoroki forgives Gantetsu and leaves his younger brother with him for a better life. Todoroki also said that he would inform them that all the Shinobazu members had died.

Todoroki used to be very strict and hard on himself because he wanted to take revenge but on the other hand, he was disciplined and calm. He also takes his role as a guard very seriously. He also gets scared when he sees fire.

Todoroki wears a Land of Forests guard force uniform. He wears a blue and purple cloth with a yellow cloth tied around his waist. He also carries a sword and wears a hat.

Todoroki has great sword abilities and is quick on the feet, which he showed when practicing against a straw dummy. He also killed many shinobi when he went to rescue his brother Akio.
