Toroi died fighting in a mission alongside Osoi. Orochimaru and Kabuto Yakushi tried to reincarnate Toroi but failed to and instead, they reincarnated Osoi, who was Toroi’s partner.

Later, Kabuto was able to get Toroi's body and then reincarnated him for the Fourth Shinobi War. Toroi was then seen tracking down Musai and Nonota. He attacked with his Magnet-style Shuriken Technique that was blocked by Nonota with his Kunai and then Nonota’s whole body got magnetized.

Toroi then used big Magnet Shuriken to attack but before he launched his attack, Naruto Uzumaki took him down with his Rasengan and then Nonota sealed him with his Binding Cloth Technique.

Toroi was known to be a brave shinobi and had the pride of the Magnet Style user.

Toroi wears the standard Kumogakure outfit that has one should flak jacket and blue jumpsuit and he wears a light brown scarf that almost covers his mouth. He had light purple hair and tan skin. He also wears a Kumogakure head protractor.

Toroi was one of the strongest Kumogakure shinobi and he had Magnet Release Kekkei Genkai abilities. Whoever touches his Magnetized Shuriken will be fully Magnetized and then when he threw his big Shuriken it will follow that person or thing that was magnetized by him earlier. He was the Jonin rank shinobi who is an expert in Shurikenjutsu.
