Who is Kanoto in Naruto

Kanoto was orphaned as a child and he was then recruited into Root, the secret branch of Anbu. There he was raised and conditioned in such a way that he had no personality, personal connections or name. He was trained to show no emotions.

To prevent Hiruzen from becoming the Third Hokage, Danzo told Kanoto and nine other Root members to assassinate him. He disguised himself as a foreign Ninja and fought the Anbu accompanying the target. Later on his target was revealed to be a disguised Kakashi which resulted in the failure of the mission.

Kanto is noted to be a tall shinobi. He had medium-length brown hair and wears the standard attire of the Anbu and his mask has blue markings.

As a member of the Anbu Kanoto was a very strong shinobi. He is quite skilled in the usage of swords and kenjutsu. He can coat his hands with chakra and use it to add extra power to his taijutsu attacks.
