Yamame (citizen) appeared in Boruto episode: 243, “Where I Belong.” He spotted Kagura with other shinobi coming to the village. Kagura told Yamame about the Funato Clan and that they would pass through the village to reach Kirigakure to attack.
Yamame and other villagers agreed to help Kagura in his plan to stop the Funato Clan and started preparing for battle. He met Kyoho Fuefuki, who was cutting down the tree for defense use and helped him build the village's defense.
When some Funato Clan members reached the village, they asked the village chief to prepare the food for his clan and if he did not do that, they would kill all the villagers. The chief ordered him to prepare food for the Funato Clan.
In the first attack by Funato Clan, Kagura was killed by Funamushi, which made Boruto Uzumaki go berserk and use his Kama power to injure Funamushi. This forced the Funato Clan to retreat. Later Yamame and Iwana were trying to fix the wall that was destroyed.
In the fight, the food storage got destroyed but still, all the villagers gave their food to Team 7 and other shinobi who were fighting and it was Yamame who gave them the food.
In the second fight, Boruto was able to kill Funamushi and that forced his clan to retreat. Yamame and other villagers supplied the food from the Kirigakure (the Village Hidden in the Mist). For the further fight against Funato Clan, Team 7 and other shinobi had to go back to the Kirigakure port side.
Yamame is cheerful and kind. He doesn’t judge people by their looks and always has a positive attitude. He cares for his friends and villagers. He even wished Kyoho to stay in the village even though Kyoho looked scary.
Yamame wears a purple vest and, under that, a white shirt. He has light brown spiky hair and a fair complexion. He has dark eyes and thin eyebrows.
