Yusuke’s father used to go fishing and sometimes Yusuke would go with him for fishing. After the Third Shinobi War, a giant marlin (swordfish) came to the seaport of the Land of Fire and when Yusuke’s father was fishing, the giant marlin attacked him and killed him. Yusuke sought revenge for his father, and with the help of Naruto Uzumaki, Aoba Yamashiro, Might Guy, and Yamato, he was able to catch and kill the giant marlin.
