Meltdown is a storyline mission in GTA V that includes protagonist Michael De Santa. Michael and his son Jimmy drive to the premiere of Meltdown where Devin Weston arrives and tells Michael that he has sent the Merryweather men to harm his family as revenge for Molly’s death. Michael sets out to protect his family.
In this mission, Michael attends the premiere of the movie Meltdown with his son Jimmy. However, during the event, Michael notices that his wife and daughter are missing. Devin Weston confronts Michael on the red carpet, hinting that he sent Merryweather agents to deal with Michael's family.
Michael quickly rushes to his house, where he engages in a fight with several waves of agents to protect his family. After being overpowered, Jimmy saves Michael's life by using his bong to kill one of the agents.
Despite being injured, Michael manages to protect his family and advises them to lay low while he makes some calls. The mission ends with Michael, Amanda, Tracey, and Jimmy sitting together in their living room, relieved that they survived the attack.

The Tuxedo is unlocked in Michael’s closet after this mission.
After this mission, Michael receives a call from Lester. Michael informs him that he still wants to go ahead with the Union Depository heist.
When arriving at the house, there might be a glitch where one of the two Merryweather operatives running into the house will remain stuck outside. At this point, he can be killed, although this will not prevent the player from having to save Amanda and Tracey from being executed.
If the player does not have enough money to buy the Tuxedo, Michael will ask the clerk to "put it on his tab", and that he will pay by next month.
The song that plays on the radio in the Limo is "Hood Gone Love It" by Jay Rock ft. Kendrick Lamar. The song can also be heard on Radio Los Santos, and in Franklin's Trailer.
A. To start this mission, the player has to visit the De Santa residence marked as M on the minimap while playing as Michael De Santa, after completing the missions “Legal Trouble” and “Lamar Down”
