The Stockade in GTA V is a large vehicle based on an armored International 4700 Series truck chassis, manufactured by Brute. The front of the truck has turn signals and a bulletproof windscreen, while the cargo area has a similarly shaped roof to the GTA San Andreas rendition. In GTA V, the entire vehicle is bulletproof and comes with Light Smoke window tint applied by default.
The Stockade has superior performance compared to other trucks in the game, including better acceleration, top speed, handling, and durability. Its endurance capabilities make it one of the strongest trucks in the game, as it can sustain multiple impacts with traffic and resist gunfire with ease.
The engine of the Stockade appears to be a twin-cam inline 4, turbocharged, and sounds similar to a high-revving diesel engine, creating a smooth sound compared to larger trucks like the Pounder and Phantom.
This vehicle cannot be modified.
Prologue - Two Bobcat Security Stockades are seen parked outside the facility.
Blitz Play - The protagonists have to intercept and raid one carrying funds for the IAA by blocking its path with a Trashmaster and then ramming it with a large Tow Truck.
Planning the Big Score - Trevor must follow two Stockades on their route to the Union Depository using his helicopter so that Lester can film the routine and find a possible point during the route where the Stockades could be intercepted and raided.
The Big Score (Subtle approach) - The heist crew have to intercept a convoy of two Stockades by puncturing their tires with Spike Strips, take control of them in order to infiltrate into the Union Depository, then leaving the area with the gold bricks into the meeting point with the modified Gauntlets.
Appears in traffic as part of a random event in which the player can steal the van by taking out the guards or take the money by blowing up the back doors.
While the snow covered variant reuses the digital dial set from the standard version, it incorrectly uses the "Tailgater" needle set due to the lack of an entry in the dashboardType parameter.
Its name is both a combination of the words "Security" and "Car", and a reference to the British security company G4S.
In GTA IV and GTA V, badges state that the truck has impregnable armor and advises potential thieves "don't even think about it".
