Baiu in Naruto

Very little is known about his childhood and past other than the fact that he was shinobi from Amegakure and participated in the Chunin Exams that were held in Konohagakure (Village Hidden in the Leaves). He proved himself to be a capable shinobi and managed to get qualified for the second round of the chunin exams.

Baiu with the rest of Team Shigure, Shigure and Midare, ran into the Sand Siblings (Gaara, Temari and Kankuro) in the Forest of Death in the second round of the exam. Shigure targeted Gaara for his scroll but unfortunately, Baiu and his teammates were no match for Gaara.

Shigure used his Senbon Shower technique to corner his opponent, but Gaara's sand put a halt to his plans. As soon as he had the chance, Gaara used his Sand Binding Coffin jutsu to imprison Shigure, Baiu, and Midare. Gaara then killed the entire Team Shigure by crushing them inside the sand coffin.

Due to his lack of appearance in the series and any related information, almost nothing is known about Baiu’s personality or true nature. However, it is stated that Baiu was a stingy, unappreciative, sad, and unpleasant individual. He was also overconfident in his and Shigure’s abilities, underestimating his opponents.

Baiu was small in stature, had a fair complexion, tiny black beady eyes, and no eyebrows. He wore a pin-striped light grey jumpsuit with a dark black side going down in the middle, carried an oxygen tank in his right invisible pocket or foreleg, dark black sandals, light grey gloves, a modified Kasa hat with the Amegakure insignia on the front, and carried a dark black sheath on his back to carry his four umbrellas.

Although Baiu was a genin-level ninja from the Hidden Rain Village, close to no information is available about the skills and abilities he possesses. He never showcased his abilities on-screen. However, it is stated that Baiu excelled at close-range combat despite his small stature.
