Chobee Akimichi in Naruto

The details of Chobee's past are rather mysterious as very little is known about his upbringing or his skills. In the anime, he only made a few brief appearances. He is just a part of the Boruto OVA and does not appear or receive any mentions in the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga, making him a non-canon character in the series.

Chobee made his first appearance in the series with the release of Boruto OVA (Original Video Animation). In the OVA, Chobee and Choji Akimichi disguised themselves and stole a box of potato chips from a store, branding them as thieves. Team 7 is then assigned a mission to track these thieves. Not knowing his true identity, Boruto Uzumaki pursued and attacked Chobee but he was finding it difficult to land a direct hit.

Then, Sarada Uchiha and Mitsuki joined in on the fight but Chobee easily defeated the trio. As a last effort, Boruto attacked Chobee with his Rasengan, and at that point, Choji interfered and protected Chobee. With their identities out in the open, the issue was resolved but the stray Rasengan destroyed the box of potato chips.

Chobee's appearance was quite limited, hence not much is known about him or his character. Based on his brief appearance in the series, Chobee is regarded as a kind and cheerful man. It also seems Chobee shares Choji and Chocho’s love for potato chips.

Chobee has a chubby body and noticeable freckles on his cheeks. He is a middle-aged man, rather short, with a triangle beard and sharp corners on his mustache. Both his mustache and hair are brown. He is dressed in samurai-style garb, including a green suit with armor bearing the kanji for "food", a pair of red trousers, and black sandals. He also sports a small pair of glasses.

Although Chobee had a limited appearance in the series, he left his mark with his remarkable abilities. Despite his age, Chobee is very quick on his feet and could easily dodge attacks thrown his way by Team 7. He is also believed to be well-versed in his clan’s secret techniques and even showcased his mastery in Partial Expansion Jutsu in his battle against Sarada Uchiha.
