Kiba Inuzuka

When Kiba was a child he was given Akamaru by his mother and the two of them became very close. Before joining the academy, Kiba and Akamaru played a lot together which used to annoy his mother as they did not train a lot.

During his time in the Academy, Kiba bunked classes with Akamaru or he used to get in trouble with Choji, Shikamaru and Naruto. These four would skip classes and go to the practice hall to play. They also tested the patience of their teacher Iruka Umino. One time Kiba fell asleep during class and when he woke up, he saw Naruto’s failed attempt at the Transformation technique. He thought that Naruto was incompetent and started to tease him.

Kiba's father left him and his family as his mother's scary attitude scared him away. Despite this, Kiba has a strong relationship with his mother and sister, although he finds his mother scary at times.

Team 8 consisting of Kiba, Shino and Hinata, passed the first two stages of the chunin exams. During the third round of the chunin exams he had a match against Naruto. Kiba thought that it would be an easy victory for him since Naruto was the worst student in the Academy. This made Naruto feel insulted. Kiba did have an upper hand as he and Akamaru had used Military Ration Pills to increase their strength and speed, but Naruto managed to trick him and knock Akamaru unconscious after which he farted in Kiba's face. As his sense of smell was strong and sensitive, this move made Kiba disoriented and Naruto won the match. When Kiba regained consciousness, he told Hinata to forfeit the match if she was paired against Gaaea or Neji.

In the finals he witnessed Naruto’s fight with Neji, and seeing how he stood his ground in the fight, he gained respect for Naruto and he defended him when he heard others making fun of his abilities.

Kiba is quite short tempered and impulsive in nature. He tends to make a lot of mistakes in battle when he is agitated. He enjoys combat even when he's up against a strong opponent. He cares about Akamaru a lot and would go to any lengths to protect him. Despite his rugged attitude, Kiba is seen to be very close to his older sister Hana and is very loyal to his clan and takes great pride in being a part of it.

During his academy days, Shino labeled Kiba as a 'problem child' and wanted to be in a different team due to their contrasting personalities. There are times when Shino and Kiba argue on which action the team should take. Kiba considers himself as the team's leader and becomes offended at Shino's actions which he sees as a challenge to his leadership. Despite him and Shino arguing a lot, he is very close to him and he respects his fighting capabilities. Shino also considers Kiba his best friend who he trusts more than anyone. Shino can be seen laughing with Kiba around even though he is serious most of the time, and he also teases Kiba when he boasts about himself and calls him a suitable candidate for the position of Hokage.

Kiba is extremely close to Hinata too and has brotherly love towards her. He urges her to become stronger. He is quite protective of her even though he tells others that she is quite capable of taking care of herself. Kiba is one of the few people who was aware of Hinata's crush on Naruto, and Kiba is very supportive of her. He also tends to tease her with Naruto at times. Despite all this, they have a strong bond of friendship. He was also very excited about the news of Naruto and Hinata getting married and wanted to give them the best wedding present. He made it Team 8's last mission and they reminisced about what they all had been through, the happy and sad moments with each other.

Kiba is also very close to Kurenai and her daughter Mirai. Even though he gets annoyed when Mirai would mix up his and Akamaru's names, he still loves her a lot. Kurenai teases Kiba about how grown up he looks with his goatee, and also playfully pinches his cheeks. Kiba gets along with Naruto well and Naruto considers him one of his first true friends in the village. They do have friendly rivalry moments, but he shows admiration towards Naruto saying that he would want to be like him.

Kiba also dreams of becoming the Hokage and declared this during the chunin exams and the Fourth Great Shinobi War. Even when he was under the infinite Tsukuyomi, he dreamt of being the Hokage and dedicated a national holiday for all dogs. Despite him being quite wild and impulsive, Kiba fell in love with Tamaki. He was at a loss of words when he first met her and he controls his boasting and talks politely whenever he's around her. This behavior makes Akamaru and Shino speechless.

Kiba had messy brown hair, black eyes with pupils which are vertically split. He also has canine-like teeth and nails that he can change into claws. He also has red fang-like markings of the Inuzuka clan on his cheek. His personality and fighting style also compliment his appearance; he has some physical traits like that of animals.

As a kid, Kiba wore dark grayish pants reaching his calves and a gray fur-lined coat with a hood which he wore. He wore a fishnet undershirt with a blue forehead protector and blue sandals. As a teenager, Kiba wore the same outfit but in black, now with the coat being replaced with a black leather fitting jacket with black pants and sandals. He wore the standard Konoha uniform during the Fourth Great Shinobi War.

After the war ended and he became an adult, Kiba grew a goatee and his hair had grown longer. He wore a new standard flak jacket underneath a fur coat with black fingerless gloves. He wears gray pants with sandals. He doesn't wear his forehead protector.

Kiba fights in a collaborative fight style along with Akamaru. He can use Shadow clones. He can also use an advanced version of the transformation technique which he uses to perform his clan's more advanced techniques. He can use Earth and Yang Release.

Kiba fights and attacks like a ferocious beast and uses his sharp claws and teeth. He can also turn Akamaru into an identical clone of himself so that they can use Fang Passing Fang, in which they can attack the target at high speed with perfect coordination. They can also transform together to form a two headed wolf, and then attack using Fang Wolf Fang which is impossible to avoid and block. By using another shadow clone, they can transform into a three-headed wolf and use the more powerful Tail Chasing Fang Fang Rotating Fang. He also learned to use Whirlwind Wolf Fang.

As a member of the Inuzuka clan, Kiba has enhanced canine like senses, his most powerful trait is his sense of smell that even surpasses that of a Ninja hound. If he concentrates all his chakra on his nose, his sense of smell increases by a thousandfold which allows him to distinguish people by their scent. It also helps him determine a person's physical condition from a distance. He is good at reconnaissance and rescue missions and can keep a track of targets and identify traps. As his nose is quite sensitive, Kiba can't take very strong odors, which can incapacitate him.

Kiba has quick reflexes and great physical strength and speed. He can deliver strong attacks on his opponents and they can hardly keep up with him. He had shown his impressive strength during the Fourth Great Shinobi War and was able to defeat the White Zetsu clone.
