Kigiri in Naruto

He was one of Orochimaru’s prisoners who joined Guren's team. Kigiri is sent to deal with Kurenai's team. Kigiri uses a smokescreen to disable Kiba's sense of smell and retreats with the others so that they can deal with them later.

When they get to know that the Three-tails is also involved, Kigiri backs off saying that he doesn't want to risk his life to capture the beast. They go back to finish the fight and also start fighting with Yamato, Rock Lee, Kiba and Tenten.

Yamato was successful in restraining him but when Lee attacked him, it turned out to be his clone, and Kigiri trapped Lee in his smoke screen. Tenten tried to keep him in the smoke and threw kunai with explosive tags attached to them towards Kigiri and with Kiba’s help, they were successful in injuring them.

Kabuto took advantage of Kigiri’s condition and convinced him that he needed surgery to survive, which forced him to activate a cursed seal. He did what Kabuto advised him to do and they attacked the Konoha ninjas again and were able to take down their primary team and capture Yukimaru.

Later on, Kigiri and his team thought that this was a good chance to even escape Orochimaru, but they soon found out that if they did that, then the curse mark would kill them if they didn’t act with caution. Due to this, they attacked Konoha’s sealing team where Kigiri fought Kakashi, and Kakashi killed Kigiri with his Lightning Cutter.

Kigiri was quite laid back as compared to the others in his team. He referred to Rinji as his elder brother on occasion and was quite doubtful about Guren’s promise to him. He also feared death and wouldn't join a fight recklessly. He is also seen to enjoy playing cards with others and hates to get wet.

Kigiri had medium-length dull purple hair with gray eyes. He wore a black cloak with a black shirt underneath with lavender pants and sandals. He also wore a gas mask that covered the lower half of his face.

Kigiri’s primary battle attacks revolved around manipulating smoke. He was able to unleash blinding smoke screens for diversions that can also be used to bind his opponents. He can create clones out of smoke to help him and could also use Fire Release.

Once he got his curse mark, he got more chakra and enhanced power. This has a side effect on him and it tears him from the inside out, but that can be prevented if he takes a certain pill.
