Kusushi in Naruto

Very little is known about his childhood and past other than the fact that Kusushi is a medical ninja of Konoha, a member of the Konoha’s Medical Corps.

Kusushi first appeared in the Sasuke Rescue Mission Arc. In the arc, Kusushi was a member of one of the two medical units that were dispatched to provide backup to the Sasuke Recovery Team (consisting of Naruto Uzumaki, Shikamaru Nara, Neji Hyuga, Kiba Inuzuka, and Choji Akimichi).

Upon arrival at the scene, he, along with the rest of his unit members ran into Kakashi Hatake who was carrying Naruto on his back and heading back to Konoha and informed him about the situation and the status of the rest of the members of the team.

Later, Kusushi reappeared in the Mizuki Tracking Mission Arc. In this arc (anime only), Kusushi, along with other members of the Medical Corps consisting of Mitate, Mogusa, Iyashi, and some other Konoha medical ninjas, were dispatched from the Konoha Hospital to aid Konoha shinobi in their battle with Mizuki.

When they arrived at the scene, he discovered that Kurenai Yuhi, Asuma Sarutobi, and some other Konoha ninjas were badly injured in their battle against Mizuki. After evaluating the situation, the Medical Corps gave the injured some first aid and then relocated them to the Konoha Hospital for treatment.

These are the only incidents where Kusushi made an appearance and hasn’t reappeared since. Due to the lack of information, it is hard to determine whether Kusushi is still alive or not. For the time being, Kusushi is believed to be alive and well until any additional information comes to light suggesting otherwise.

Almost nothing is known about Kusushi's personality or true nature due to his limited appearance in the series and any relevant information. However, based on his limited role it can be said that Kusushi is dedicated to his work as a medical ninja.

Kusushi is a young man with brown skin, black eyes, and thick eyebrows. He wears the standard outfit of Konoha’s hospital medical ninja, consisting of a white full-sleeve, high-collared jacket, and matching pants.

Additionally, he wears a white, matching headgear that covers his head, and his ears, only leaving his face visible, and has a Konoha forehead protector attached to it. He also wears a pair of glasses, suggesting he might have weak eyesight.

Although Kusushi is a medical ninja, one of Konoha’s finest, the true extent of his abilities is still unknown. However, based on his status, it can be deduced that as a medical ninja, Kusushi possesses an intellect, combined with excellent chakra control, and is well-versed in medical ninjutsu and medical procedures. In the anime, Kusushi showcased his skills in using the Mystical Palm Technique.

Apart from the Naruto manga and anime, Kusushi is also part of Naruto’s gaming franchise. He made his debut in the gaming category with the release of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Online.
