Unagi in Naruto

Unagi appeared in the past arc of Naruto Shippuden. He was born and brought up in Konoha village and was in the same ninja academy batch as Naruto. At that time, just like the others, he also didn’t want to be Naruto's friend and used to make fun of him. Naruto just wanted to be in his group because he was not in any group.

Unagi, with Hibachi, wanted to take revenge on Naruto because he pranked them in the Konoha Cemetery. They told Naruto to bring something from the hill where the fight occurred last night. It was a dangerous place to go because when Naruto went there, three shinobi from other villages attacked him, but Iruka Umino and Kakashi Hatake were able to save him. Shikamaru Nara was the one who told Iruka about the prank.

Unagi was also seen in the anime when Kiba Inuzuka, Choji Akimichi, Naruto Uzumaki, and Hibachi raced to the mountain to win the candies they bet on.

Unagi is cruel and does not care about other people's feelings. He and his friends pranked Naruto, which could have led him to his death, but he does not care. He is full of himself and thinks he is smarter than anyone.

Unagi has long brown hair and wears brown trousers with a blue jacket and a white t-shirt. He wears a green band around his forehead and round specs which give him looks like people from the 90's.
