Akemaru is a Ninja Hound (Ninken) of the Inuzuka Clan from Konohagakure (the Village Hidden in the Leaves). He is one of the characters in Boruto: The Next Generation, a Japanese manga series written by Ukyo Kodachi and Masashi Kishimoto and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto.

Akemaru appeared in Boruto episode: 93, "Parent and Child Day." He came with Akamaru and Kibo Inuzuka to buy a Kurama toy for his girlfriend Tamaki.
Naruto Uzumaki and Himawari Uzumaki came to the store to buy the same Kurama toy on the parent and child day, as Himawari wanted it. When the store opened, the Kurama doll sold out instantly and Naruto brought the Shukaku doll by mistake which made Akemaru and others feel disappointed with Naruto.
Kiba told them that he would help them to find one and soon he was able to, but then a thief took it from Akamaru in exchange for a burger and when Kiba shouted at Akemaru and Akamaru, they said they did not eat anything since morning. However, Naruto was able to catch the thief and got to know that he took it for his children, and so Himawari gave it to the child.
Akemaru seems to be kind and friendly. He follows the order of Kiba.
Akemaru looks like Akamaru when he was young except the color of his fur is red.
Akemaru did not show any abilities but as he is a Ninken, he might know fang over fang and can bite.
