Very little is known about Taiseki as his past is still shrouded in mystery. Taiseki made his debut in episode 119 of Naruto Shippuden in Kakashi Gaiden. It was revealed that Taiseki led a team of Iwagakure shinobi consisting of Kakko and Mahiru in the Third Great Shinobi War.
The team used Kakko and Mahiru's excellent diversionary strategies to attack the enemy during the Third Shinobi World War. He could approach his enemies from their blind area using his Hiding with Camouflage Technique, easily eliminating them with a single blow.
During the war, Taiseki and his teammates confronted Team Minato of Konoha, consisting of Obito Uchiha and Ron Nohara, led by Kakashi Hatake at the time. Using their diversionary tactics, Taiseki and his comrades were able to outsmart young Konoha shinobi and abducted Rin.
Later, Taiseki faced Obito and Kakashi when they tracked him down to rescue Rin. Taiseki used his Hiding with Camouflage Technique to sneak up on Kakashi and blind him in his left eye. However, as Taiseki was about to land his finishing blow, Obito awakened his Sharingan. Obito used his newly gained visual powers to track Taiseki’s movements and eliminate him.
Taiseki was a highly skilled jonin and he was quiet and always cautious with his approach. Even though Kakashi and Obito were kids, he never took them lightly and fought them with caution, keeping his distance.
Taiseki was a middle-aged man who was prominent in stature with a dark skin tone, small dark eyes, a big nose, and black hair that reached his neck. He wore his village, Iwagakure's forehead protector, on a bandanna.
He was dressed in the traditional Iwagakure shinobi attire, which included a flak jacket, a shirt without a right sleeve, and a dark indument that hung from his waist down his right leg to his knees.
Taiseki was a jonin of Iwagakure, which goes to show his incredible skills as a shinobi. However, the full extent of his abilities has yet to be discovered. He was only seen using his Hiding with Camouflage Technique. This technique allowed him to manipulate the light around him, which made him invisible to the naked eye.
