Six Paths Senjutsu is a type of senjutsu practiced by Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, the Sage of Six Paths, and his younger brother, Hamura. As he did with his son, Asura, and subsequently with his son’s reincarnate, Naruto Uzumaki, Hagoromo may bestow Six Paths Senjutsu on others.
It can also be achieved by becoming the jinchūriki of the Ten-Tails, because absorbing the power of the nine-tailed creatures is equivalent to absorbing the strength of the Sage of Six Path’s himself.

The Six Paths Senjutsu Chakra is essentially the Progenitor Chakra or the Juubi Chakra. The general name for a Shinobi using such a chakra is a Six Paths Senjutsu User. Hagoromo and Hamura were both born with naturally occurring Six Paths Sage Chakra as the children of Kaguya, so they became the users of Six Paths Senjutsu. This power was later bestowed upon Naruto Uzumaki by Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, also known as the Sage of the Six Paths.
Six Paths Senjutsu is said to be related to the pattern that appears on the user’s back when it is used, which consists of a Rinnegan-like marking above nind magatama and mimics the pattern on the back of Hagoromo’s robe. Obito Uchiha’s back pattern differed slightly that of other known users, with the Rinnegan-like marking itself formed into a magatama.
As a form of Senjutsu, this skill provides comparable benefits as Sage Mode, but the user’s sensing abilities are largely enhanced, to the point that they can see shadows in the invisible world of Limbo. They also develop a complete understanding of chakra, including the capacity to use all five fundamental nature transformations and make flawless use of Yin-Yang Release, as well as almost unconscious mastery of the Sage of Six Path’s floating ability. When Six Paths Senjutsu is awakened, a number of Truth-Seeking Balls are obtained.
Obito and Madara Uchiha demonstrated various more special skills as the Ten-Tails’ jinchūriki, while it is unknown if these extend to Six Paths Senjutsu users in general. The two were completely immune to the effects of ninjutsu, only vulnerable to senjutsu and taijutsu, however Six Paths Power methods may potentially harm them. They also possessed an exceptional healing factor, capable of fully generating from attacks that destroyed major chunks of their bodies in seconds, with Madara claiming to be eternal.
Though taijutsu is effective, the immense durability of Six Paths users means that only techniques of the highest level have any discernible effect; Madara was simply pushed aside by Daytime Tiger without any harm. Obito was capable of generating chakra arms from the protrusions on his back that were powerful enough to easily pierce the Four Red Yang Formation. Despite not having previously possessed the Kekkei Genkai, Madara was able to execute a Storm Release Technique due to his Six Paths Power.
Naruto may use Six Paths Senjutsu when in his Six Paths Sage Mode, which he obtained from Hagoromo. During the Fourth Shinobi World War, Naruto wore a special shroud with the design associated with Six Paths Senjutsu on its back when he used this mode in conjunction with his chakra cloak. The Truth-Seeking Balls Naruto used in this form, according to Sasuke Uchiha, utilized what he named “Six Paths Sage Chakra”, which allowed them to destroy Madara’s shadow.
