Doberman is a fictional character in the popular manga and its anime adaptation, the One Piece series, written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda.

Vice Admiral Doberman is a seasoned Marine officer. He played a key role in leading the Buster Call against Enies Lobby and participated in the Summit War of Marineford.

Vice Admiral Doberman participated in the Enies Lobby Buster Call. He shared information about Rob Lucci's past with his subordinates and believed that with Lucci handling the escort of Nico Robin, the Marines didn't need to intervene. Additionally, Doberman seemed to recognize Spandam's deception regarding Admiral Aokiji's orders but took no action against it.
During the Marineford War, Vice Admiral Doberman engaged in battle against the Whitebeard Pirates' division commanders. He witnessed Whitebeard's attack on the Marines and was surprised by the arrival of Little Oars Jr., noting the giant's exceptional size.
Upon sensing Luffy's unknowing use of Haki, Doberman warned his subordinates to consider Monkey D. Luffy a serious threat. Aware that Luffy is Dragon's son, Doberman saw him as a potential danger for the future. During Trafalgar Law's intervention, Doberman showed no mercy, ordering Marines to prioritize the battle over helping injured comrades.
When Shanks appeared and called for a ceasefire, Doberman initially protested, emphasizing the importance of a Marine victory. However, he was surprised when Sengoku agreed with Shanks, and he stood down as the war came to an end.
Doberman was at New Marineford when the Marines intercepted communication between Big Mom and Kaido.
Doberman, leading a group of Vice Admirals, surrounded Egghead and reported to Jaygarcia Saturn about the ongoing mission. He conveyed information about the locations of various groups within the island's barriers, including the Straw Hat Pirates, CP0, and Vegapunk. Saturn ordered the sinking of researcher ships and expressed disregard for the Cipher Pol agents' lives. Doberman questioned the fate of the agents, and Saturn clarified it as a worst-case scenario.
Later, during the invasion of Egghead, Doberman rushed to Saturn's aid when the latter was attacked by Jewelry Bonney, although Saturn dismissed his assistance, considering the injury non-critical.
Doberman strongly believes in Absolute Justice, commanding Marines to abandon injured soldiers and supporting the display of Whitebeard's and Ace's heads as trophies. He also insisted that Luffy, Dragon's son, should not leave Marineford alive. Despite perceiving Spandam's lie about Robin, he took no action to prevent the attack on her.
Doberman has distinctive features, including four X-shaped scars on his face, two on his neck, and a split, curling mustache. His brown hair flows down to his shoulders, and he lacks a pupil in his left eye.
His Marine coat is more intricate than others, draped like a cape, and he wears a naval officer-inspired outfit with a loose shirt and suit pants.
As a vice admiral, Doberman can command a Buster Call and has authority over lower-ranking subordinates. He demonstrated a strong will by resisting Luffy's Haoshoku Haki and survived the entire Summit War of Marineford without visible injuries.
