Medaka Mermaid Quintuplets in One Piece

The quintuplets first appeared in Camie's house on Fish-Man Island. When Monkey D. Luffy and his crew got separated and later reunited with Camie, the quintuplets provided them with dried clothes. After introductions, they went to Mermaid Cove together.

Later, the quintuplets informed Camie about the royal gondola's arrival and expressed concern about possible royalty on board. They were also present in Coral Hill when the Straw Hats were suspected of kidnapping mermaids. Upon hearing news of the Straw Hats' alleged takeover of the Ryugu Palace, the quintuplets were in disbelief.

After the battle for Fish-Man Island, the quintuplets danced at the banquet in the Ryugu Palace. During the Straw Hats' departure, the quintuplets bid them farewell.

The Medaka Mermaid Quintuplets have a unique way of talking. Ichika makes a statement, Nika adds excitement to it, Sanka says the opposite, Yonka questions it, and Yonka Two questions if it matters. Despite this, they are cheerful, friendly, and like staying close together.

The Medaka Mermaid Quintuplets are five small mermaids who look identical. They have curly shoulder-length hair and tails with alternating white and colored stripes. They wear cowboy hats, crop tops, and bubble rings for floating. Each sister has a unique color scheme and hat design.

• Ichika has red hair, green-striped tail, light green fins, white top, green hat with white polka dots.

• Nika has Blonde hair, red-striped tail, pink fins, red top, hat matching her tail's pattern.

• Sanka has orange hair, blue-striped tail, light blue fins, dark blue top, solid blue hat.

• Yonka has pink hair, brown-striped tail, yellow fins, brown top, solid white hat.

• Yonka Two has Brown hair, yellow-striped tail, light yellow fins, black top, hat with jaguar-print pattern.

Not much is known about the Quintuplets’s abilities. However, Camie mentions that they are very fast swimmers, faster than any fish in the ocean, and very well-informed.

In addition to the One Piece manga and its anime adaptation, Medaka Mermaid Quintuplets also appears in One Piece: Gigant Battle! 2 New World as a non-playable characters.

• Quintuplets' names are based on Japanese numbers: Ichika (1), Nika (2), Sanka (3), Yonka (4).

• Usopp expects Yonka Two's name to be Goka (5) based on the pattern but it breaks.

• Nika shares her name with the Sun God Nika and wears a red shirt like Luffy, who ate Nika's Devil Fruit.
