Onigumo, leading four other vice admirals, responded to the Buster Call at Enies Lobby. He commanded three ships to attack a Marine ship, disregarding a thousand sailors, to target Monkey D. Luffy.

Onigumo, a staunch supporter of "Absolute Justice," even shot a soldier who opposed sacrificing comrades. As chaos ensued with the closing of the Gates of Justice, Onigumo expressed frustration and shouted insults at the gate personnel.

Impel Down Arc

Onigumo oversaw the transfer of Ace to Marineford and cautioned his squad to stay vigilant. He informed Ace that it would be his last glimpse of the sky.

Marineford Arc

Armed with eight swords, Onigumo joined other vice admirals to battle the Whitebeard Pirates in the Summit War of Marineford. During the conflict, he effortlessly dealt with the enemies and played a crucial role in neutralizing First Division Captain Marco.

Onigumo was surprised when Monkey D. Garp was defeated by his grandson, Luffy. Following Whitebeard's death and Shanks' arrival, he stood down on Fleet Admiral Sengoku's orders.

Onigumo’s Personality

Onigumo strongly believes in Absolute Justice and is willing to make sacrifices to defeat what he sees as "evil." He even shot a soldier who questioned his order to destroy a fellow Buster Call ship and comrades for the sake of defeating Monkey D. Luffy.

Onigumo’s Appearance

Onigumo is a tall man with a cold face and semi-closed eyes. He often smokes a cigarette and has long brown hair. He wears an ancient war helmet with a small Japanese dragon and a long red plume. Under his Marine coat, he dresses in a double-breasted gray suit over a dark green shirt with a silver tie.

Onigumo’s Abilities

Onigumo, a Marine vice admiral, has the authority to lead a Buster Call with four other vice admirals.

He possesses an unknown Zoan Devil Fruit that transforms him into a spider. This ability allows him to grow three pairs of spider-like arms from his hair, along with a spider-like abdomen. With a total of eight arms, including his human ones, he wields sabers with exceptional skill, akin to Hatchan's Six Sword Style and Hyouzou's Eight Sword Style.
