Minion Island in One Piece

Minion Island is located to the northeast of Swallow Island and to the east of Rubeck Island. This island has several hills which gives it a vibe of a ghost town. This town also has a mansion at the top of the hill, a place that the Diez Barrels and his crew used as their hideout. This island has a very snowy climate.

A long time ago, Diez Barrel and his crew used this as their base. After knowing about the Barrel’s base location from Sengoku, Rosinante and Law went there to obtain the Ope Ope no Mi so that Law could eat it and use the fruit’s power to heal himself from his fatal illness. After getting their hands on the fruit, Rosinante forced Law to eat it and then asked Law to deliver a letter to the Marines stationed on the island. Unfortunately, the Marine to whom Law gave the letter was Vergo, who destroyed the letter and brutally beat up Rosinante and Law.

They both were able to escape from Vergo while he was distracted talking to Doflamingo via his Den Den Mushi. After Doflamingo got to know that Rosinante and Law had escaped, he used his Ito Ito no Mi powers to create a cage of strings that covered the island and prevented Rosinante and Law from escaping and going to sea. After being caged, Rosinante knew that they had no chance of escaping alive and came up with a plan to allow Law to escape Doflamigo’s cage. He put Law inside a treasure chest and knew that the Donquixote Pirates would take it with them. This plan ended up working as Doflamigo removed the birdcage after he got to know that a boy, Buffalo, had been rescued by the Marines and his crew brought the chest with Law inside of him.

Law was able to get out and slip away when the Donquixote Pirates were busy fighting Vice Admiral Tsuru which bombarded the island. He eventually left Minion Island and stayed at Swallow Island for a while.

He was a Marine officer who left the Marines to become a pirate. He is the captain of the Barrel Pirates.

Minion Island, Rubeck Island, and Swallow Island get their names from English ships that took part in the Battle of San Juan De Ulua.
