Arlong Park in One Piece

Location

At the East of Cocoyasi Village, Arlong Park was built along the shore close to the ocean, where Momoo could enter and exit that pool that was linked to the outer seas by a pair of steel gates. It was observed that Arlong Park and Sabaody Park were similar in design. This resulted from the crew’s childhood desire to fit in with society and to expose the brutality of the slave trade in the Sabaody Archipelago. The structure itself, which featured two notable rooms, was based on the main building in Sabaody park.

Following are the Major Locations of the Arlong Park:

East Gate

The only exit from the island was at the East Gate, which was surrounded by paddy fields. It was smashed to shreds by Luffy.

Weapon Room

The weapon room on the first level is where the Kiribachi, along with a number of katana, were stored in. It is also where Zoro’s Wado Ichimonji was held when he was captured, until Nami returned it to him.

Map Room

The fifth-floor map room was the place where Nami was made to draw maps for the pirates and where Arlong planned to imprison her for the rest of her life. While in battle against Arlong, Luffy entered the room accidentally, sensed Nami’s suffering and noticed a blood-covered pen.

History

After infiltrating the Cocoyasi Village, Arlong and his crew members took control over the village and started extorting money from the inhabitants in exchange for their lives. It is unknown whether the Arlong Park’s structure was already in existence at the time or built later by the fishmen pirates.

The establishment was destroyed during the battle between Monkey D. Luffy and Arlong. The battle ultimately freed the inhabitants of the Cocoyasi Village from the vile rule of the Arlong Pirates.

Since the Arlong Park was exclusively under control of the fishmen, the place was inhabited by numerous fishmen. Some of the notable characters who inhabited Arlong Park were:

Arlong

The Fishman named Arlong the Saw is a sawshark. He was Madam Shyarly’s older half-brother and the captain of the Arlong Pirates, an all-fishmen crew. He was also a former member of the Sun Pirates, and he served as a major source of inspiration for the New Fish-Man Pirates.

Hatchan

Hatchan, sometimes known as “Hachi”, is an octopus fish-man who, prior to the Arlong Pirates’ defeat, served as an officer and a member of the Sun Pirates.
