Region | Alabasta |
Badland is a non-canon location in the Alabasta region. Here, Scorpion started raising his sons, Chip and Dip, after giving up bounty hunting. They have a garden in the front yard of their house where they farm potatoes. Due to the region's lack of resources, there isn’t enough food for Scorpion to feed his boys, and so the only source is their potato farm which sprouts a single potato each day.
The Badland has terrible living circumstances due to its lack of vegetation and animals, making it a desolate wasteland. Wind and water have been steadily deteriorating the terrain until all that is left is a barren waste region of clay and sand. Scorpion and his sons Chip and Dip planted potato plants, the only food available in this barren land.
