Charlotte Galette’s past is shrouded in mystery. Other than the fact that she is the 18th daughter and older twin sister of Charlotte Poire, nothing else is known about her early years.

Whole Cake Island Arc

In the midst of the chaotic scene in Sweet City, Big Mom's insatiable craving for croquembouche caused her to go on a destructive rampage. Galette, along with her siblings Opera and Mont-d'Or, desperately pleaded with their mother to calm down and not harm anyone, particularly their brother Moscato.

However, Big Mom's hostility towards Moscato remained unchanged, and to everyone's horror, she used her terrifying power to snatch away his lifespan.

The citizens of Sweet City were left in shock and disbelief at the sight of Big Mom's callous act. Meanwhile, Galette took charge and ordered some soldiers to swiftly remove Moscato's lifeless body, mourning the loss of her brother.

Two days later, Galette, Opera, and Mont-d'Or witnessed the defeated Sweet Commander Cracker returning to Sweet City, his defeat at the hands of an unknown opponent evident. The siblings were appalled by the sight, realizing that Cracker had failed in his mission to confront Monkey D. Luffy in the treacherous Seducing Woods. This revelation implied that Luffy was responsible for Cracker's defeat, further escalating tensions.

With Sweet City on high alert, Galette led an army of Big Mom Pirates toward Luffy's location, ready to engage in a fierce battle. As the clash ensued, Nami unleashed a powerful lightning bolt, surprising Galette with its intensity. However, Galette quickly used her Devil Fruit ability to immobilize Nami, impressed by the Straw Hat pirate's formidable attack.

Amidst the chaos, Amande, another member of Big Mom's crew, cunningly removed a Vivre Card from Nami, causing Galette and her siblings to realize that it was the source of the Straw Hat Pirates' ability to render the homies powerless.

Their surprise deepened when they discovered that the Vivre Card belonged to Lola, a name that held significance to them. Recognizing the importance of this discovery, Galette and the army decided to return to Sweet City, bringing the captive Straw Hat Pirates along, in order to report to Big Mom. In the Prisoner Library, Galette, along with her siblings, sat on a comfortable couch, watching intently as Big Mom communicated with Luffy and Nami through a Den Den Mushi.

After Big Mom concluded her conversation with the prisoners, a member of her crew named Anglais rushed to Galette and her siblings, informing them of an intruder who had infiltrated the Room of Treasure, an important area within their territory. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, Galette and her siblings prepared themselves for the imminent threat.

Later, Galette participated in a crucial meeting that focused on assessing the progress and well-being of both the Sanji Retrieval Team and the Vinsmoke Family, acknowledging the importance of their roles in the unfolding events.

As the grand Tea Party and wedding ceremony of Sanji and Charlotte Pudding commenced, Galette was among the attendees, observing and listening to Vinsmoke Niji's words during the festive occasion. However, chaos erupted when Luffy and his group instigated a commotion, causing Big Mom to unleash her powerful screams. Amidst the pandemonium, Galette shielded her ears, noticing that Big Mom had scraped her knees during the mayhem.

Continuing to protect her ears from the destructive soundwaves, Galette witnessed Capone Bege, Vito, and Gotti launching their weapons at Big Mom, only to have them obliterated by her piercing scream. In a bid to aid Galette, Katakuri provided her with mochi earplugs, allowing her some respite from the deafening noise. With the Big Mom Pirates closing in on Luffy and Bege's groups, Bege transformed into a formidable fortress to shield his allies.

Once Bege resumed his human form, Caesar Clown attempted to escape the chaotic venue with Bege in tow, while Luffy, Sanji, and the Vinsmoke Family engaged in a fierce confrontation against the Big Mom Pirates. In the heat of the battle, Galette, alongside Smoothie and Daifuku, utilized Galette's power to subdue Luffy, Sanji, and Reiju as they attempted to retreat. However, their plans were abruptly interrupted when the Tamatebako, a valuable treasure, dropped to the base of the Whole Cake Chateau and exploded, triggering the collapse of the towering castle.

As the structure began to crumble, Galette found herself plummeting from the castle's remains, desperately screaming for Katakuri's assistance. True to her plea, Katakuri swiftly intervened, saving Galette from a potentially fatal fall. Miraculously, Streusen, another powerful member of the crew, utilized his abilities to transform the collapsing castle into a delectable cake, ultimately rescuing the crew from imminent doom.

Onboard the Queen Mama Chanter, a massive ship, Galette watched as the Sun Pirates valiantly protected the Thousand Sunny, preventing the pursuing Big Mom Pirates from reaching the Straw Hat crew and ensuring their safety for the time being.

Wano Country Arc

When Big Mom decided to infiltrate Wano Country, Galette joined her mother and the crew aboard the Queen Mama Chanter, as they sought to scale the towering waterfall that led into the country. Their objective was to reach Wano and join forces with Kaidou's forces.

Marco's actions resulted in the Big Mom Pirates' ship being forcefully knocked back down, further hindering their progress in reaching Wano and reuniting with their leader.
