History of Hebi Hebi no Mi, Model: Anaconda

When they were slaves, the Gorgon Sisters were force-fed devil fruits as a form of entertainment. Boa Sandersonia was fed the Hebi Hebi no Mi, Model: Anaconda Devil Fruit at that time. As they were ashamed of this, the Sisters told the people of the Kuja Tribe that they were cursed with these powers as they were successful in slaying a monster called Gorgon.

Appearance of Hebi Hebi no Mi, Model: Anaconda

As the fruit hasn't yet been shown in the anime, we don't know a lot about its appearance.

Strengths and weaknesses

The major strength of this devil fruit is that along with the physical strength of the hybrid form, the user also has a long powerful, muscular and versatile body and they can capture enemies. They also possess sharp fangs. As they are carnivorous reptiles, they are also better adapted for combat than normal Zoan type devil fruit users.

Their tail is the weakness of this devil fruit. This is because the tail can be tied to an object to limit their movement which leaves them vulnerable. The other weakness is the standard devil fruit weaknesses that other devil fruit users have i.e. that they cannot swim.

Usage

At first, Sandersonia was fed the devil fruit for entertainment purposes. After she was free she lied to the members of the Kuja Tribe by saying that her ability to turn into an Anaconda is part of the curse she had her sister receive. She did this to hide the truth. With the help of her long hybrid body that was given to her by the devil fruit, she can move in snake patterns to avoid and attack her opponents. She also uses haki in her attacks.

Techniques

The techniques used by Boa Sandersonia are:

Saragi no Mai

This is a combined attack between Marigold and her sister Sandersonia. This was first seen during their battle against Luffy.

Heavy Slam

In this technique, Sandersonia imbues her tail with Busoshoku Haki and slams her enemies head first into the ground.

Snake Dance

In this technique, Sandersonia dodges her enemy’s attack with the help of Kenbunshoku Haki with her snake. The way that she moves with this technique resembles belly dancing.

Hebigami- Tsuki: Yamata no Orochi

In this technique, Sandersonia turns her hair into seven snakes and turns into a hydra beast. The fangs of these snakes are strong like steel and are capable of even crushing stones. When this attack is used in coordination with her sister's attack, it forms an ultimate attack. It attacks the target from all sides and leaves no blind spots.
